If you are considering the Netcare Femina Hospital perhaps take a hospital tour of the place and decide for yourself?

There are quite a few links on this Forum where people have voiced their opinions on the doctors and hospital. Perhaps if you search "Femina" you will find a few...

I stay in Midstream and travelled to Femina for my gynae apps... and gave birth there. Had 2 completely drug-free natural births.

I'm new to this forum, and just love all the feedback and help from other moms and moms to be!
I'm pregnant with my first. Yay! Already 21 weeks along and now feel like I have to change my gynea....

I am currently with Dr Minnaar at Unitas, but my experience so far was quite cold. Me and my husband feel very unwelcome there and last time I called the reception with a question, they couldn't find my name on their system! I'm very upset. What if I have an emergency, and they don't know who I am?!
I've been feeling uncomfortable there for a while now, but that was the last straw!

Please can I get some input about gyneas. I live in Midrand and prefer to go closer rather than further to where I live. (although I have heard awesome things about femina hosp, and might consider going there)

I am looking at the new mediclinic in Midstream which only opens in March. The drs that will be practising there are Dr John Markram, Dr Carolina vd Westhuizen, Dr Hennie Burger, and Dr Hennie Cronje.

Anyone with any experience at these drs would be greatly appreciated.
