I've attached the goodies bag from Dischem, but don't look if you want a surprise .Just thought I must share

@mommy4 - oh great. I spend it on baby stuff anyways, cant have enough hey. Glad ypu came right there.

Babydreaming88: At Dischem you don't really have to spend that 300 or more on baby's staff you can spend it on anything that's what they told me when I went to register last weekend.

The Discovery bag is on Discovery Vitality Mommy4.

I got mine in April.
It had all the things Karmie listed as well as a small pack of wet wipes.
The Pregnancy and Childbirth book that I got is very detailed, and goes up to Raising Toddlers.

(best part was, I hadn't even thought of cradle cap cream and was thrilled to get some! )

Ladies ladies

Karmie: The Discovery bag seems like a real deal package . Are you on vitality or is there a way that you did to get the bag? Please help with details cause I'm on Discovery too, but not on vitality hence I need to know please.

I'll also check the Dischem one I have their points card thank you ladies

Just to add, I picked up the Discovery bag about 6 months ago. Yes, it does have the pram, car seat and nappy vouchers, but is also contained the following goodies which I thought was quite nice:

- Pregnancy and Childbirth Book;
- Nuk 0-3 months dummy;
- Baby sense taglet;
- fleecy baby blanket;
- karvol arnica gel (standard size, goes for about R50 as Baby City);
- karvol cradle cap cream (standard size); and
- 10 (i think!) newborn huggies nappies.

If memory serves me, there were samples of shampoo, bum cream, breast pads, maternity pads, milton steriliser etc in the bag as well.

It is still worth it to pick it up, even though you may not be using the vouchers.

If you are registered with dischem baby and spent 300 or more on baby goodies they give you a gorgeous nappy bag, matching changing mat and the bag is filled with sample products. Just go to their info desk to check, they ask you for your EDD as well. They will contact you when your back is at the shop.
