Hospitals in Cape Town Northern Suburbs

dr albetryn was my dr and my baby is how 24 years old, he was great, just in time, but great!

does anybody have feedback on how to go about when living in Kraaifontein, and needs to go to a state hospital for delivery. she is 8 months pregnant, no medical aid or other support. Before she fell pregnant, the gyne said she have abnormal cells in her womb and would have difficulty to conceive or give normal birth. Now that the dad passed away, she is all alone and is scared that something might go wrong during labor and want to opt for C-section. But at the moment is not supported by the clinic in Kraaifontein.

I can really recommend Dr Sangita Dalla at Cape Gate Medi Clinic.
She takes her time to explain everything and she does not mind answering all your questions. Cape Gate is also a very good hospital and I here from friends that their maternity ward is very good.

thank you ladies. i had a 8 week scan scheduled today by my previous gynea in helderberg but unfortunately the doctor was called away on an emergency. and i came to the conclusion of a midwife. its been on my mind but wasnt sure until now. i was referred by a friend and im happy with what she offers and im looking forward to a home birth if thats in God's plans for me and baby.

With witch medical scheme are you? Some Dr have special arrangements with the medical schemes.

My gynea is registered with Discovery and I now don’t need to pay the birthing levy in cash as my medical scheme pays for that.

I'm with Dr Sangita Dalla at Cape Gate MediClinic. She is great, and I went on a tour of the maternity ward a few weeks ago and I was really impressed. The semi-private rooms (covered by medical aid) is basically like a private room, you only share a bathroom with one other person. Staff were super friendly too.

I gave birth to both my girls at Panorama MediClinic, they have a lovely maternity ward and great staff.
