1. I am grateful for this precious Babyboy growing inside me. We have wanted a baby for years & after crying so many times after getting negative pregnancy tests, I started accepting that I wasn’t meant to/can’t have children.

2. My mother died when I was 9 years old and I don’t really have relatives that I am close to, this is my first pregnancy and I am clueless. Going through pregnancy without a mom is hard. I used to cry a lot about it at first but my fiancés mother and granny make things so much easier for me. I am grateful for every little thing they do (calling to check on me, giving me tips, buying me fruits)

3. I am grateful for a patient and loving partner who sticks with me through my drama and moods lol

4. I am grateful this group, I learn so much everyday & my journey feels less lonely ;)

This is such a good question to ask, I am sure it has made us all think twice about what we should be grateful for!

Thank you posing the question Zaza2011!

I am thankful for serving an amazing God... he is blessed me with a wonderful partner who is my best friend, and the very best father to our girls... I always say that he is so hands on with our girls that the only thing he couldn't do was breastfeed our girls... :P

I am so thankful for having had two healthy pregnancies and births of my choice... that I could breastfeed my girls for so long! God knows how much our youngest needed it, as we almost lost her at 6weeks! That was such a scary experience - it has caused me to thank God EVERYDAY for these two blessings!

I am thankful for a nanny that is like our family, who has been with us for years, and even though she drives me up the wall at times our family wouldn't be the same without her. She was the one of the best support systems we had while my folks were in Paris for 4 years.

And now that my folks are back I am ever so grateful for all their advise... and that they now live up the road from us and allow us to take a break every so often from parenting and just be husband and wife: not parents, for a few hours!

And yes for earthly things... for a good job that allows me to give my kids the very best education and all sorts of therapies that they need. For our home - that is filled with so much love! For friends and family, those we see often and those that just live too far away but are always in our hearts

Thanks again Zaza... now I have tears in my eyes!

I think I should edit the post to include everyone, pregnant or not, trying or not :-) cause all your stories are so unique and wonderful.

And yes maybe its my pregnancy hormones but each one of your experiences have brought tears to my eyes and no matter how different our situations we all share some unique experiences.

@Nunu I believe with a heart as generous as yours, god will definitely bless you with all your wishes.

@Mrstl - you have shared one of your most precious moments with us and its amazing how some one so little teaches us unconditional love

@Natasha - you are most definitely blessed and I am sure you have worked long and hard to get there (emotionally & physically)

I Would love to hear more from our ladies pregnant or not.

Hi,I am also not pregnant......but I am grateful for a few things.
I am grateful for having being able to have kids after trying for so long and having a smooth free pregnancy and a healthy baby.
Also to have a roof over my head, a plate of food every night and a loving hubby, and ofcourse my girls even though they drive me insane but they do love me unconditionally.
Against all my flaws and wrongs my kids never see the wrong only the right in their mom, that's what I am grateful for and a mum that always takes my side lol even though she stays in another province.

Mom to 2 princesses.

Hi Zaza,

Our LG is 16 months old and she gets into bed with us every night at some point. She woke me up at 03:00 this morning just to give me loud kisses. (A kiss needs to be loud and you have to purse your whole mouth for it according to her) I am so grateful to be blessed with such a perfect and precious little girl and a DH that adores us both.

Hi Zaza

I am not pregnat (yet), but thought to also share with you what I am gratefull for.

We've been ttcing for almost 8 years now. I had a BFP, but unfortunetly miscarried on 9 weeks in 2014.

HOWEVER, I am gratefull for so many things....

I am gratefull towards GOD for carrying and leading us on this journey for 8 years, never letting go of my hand.
God has given me the health and ability to work so that we can earn enough money to continue to do the IUI's
I am gratefull for a LOVING HUSBAND supporting me through all the hormones ups and downs, through all the tears and frustration. Through the weight gains, hair loss and mood swings. We cried together and laughed together, which only made our relationship and love stronger.
I am gratefull for AWESOME PARENTS, who supports us so much with prayer, love and understanding. Even moving closer to work so that they can look after the baby to be......
I am gratefull for friends and family, who sometimes say and do the WRONG things, but only because they care....
I am gratefull for an understanding boss, who understands and allows the taking off work for scans, bloodwork and and and....
I am gratefull for 3 godchildres who I love with all my heart and who gives me so much laughter and unconditional love
I am gratefull for the amazing holidays we take every year, just to "clear" our minds and take a break...
I am gratefull for my earthly belongings (house, car, furniture).

I am gratefull.....and even if God decides that it is not in his plan for us to have a baby, I will still be gratefull for all my blessings God has given me...for I live a FULL life and will continue doing so
