The mood swings are quite an upheaval. My daughter can't understand why mommy starts crying during a Tinkerbel movie - but it happens. The effect these hormones have are quite unbelievable.

Moodiness.

Seems like an understatement some days.
I can easily go from relaxed and happily daydreaming about baby, to so angry I could seriously maim someone if they just push that one more button, to crying in a state of absolute misery, in a matter of minutes. :S

Ai these hormones. It's on days like those that I can't wait for baby to be here, and my body to start becoming mine again. (at least by way of hormones!!)

Remember there's a lot of commotion going on in your body and mind so it's completely understandable having mood swings. Having a baby is a big change!

It very important to give yourself a break. Take some time for a walk or a massage, or anything else where you give yourself and your mind a rest, every day if possible.

To keep me sane I meditate 5 minutes in the morning, before getting out of bed, and do 5 minutes of yoga. Sometimes I do my yoga while still in bed:)

Listen to your body. Understand when it’s sending you a message that it needs more down time, more unplugged time. Work with your body, not against it.

for this pregnancy I generally have some moodiness when I am tired or getting hungry.

so maybe more rest, I don't think there is much we can do but remind people around us.

I am very emotional though, can cry over anything lol

Hi ladies,
Anyone experiencing super moodiness? Geez, these pregnancy hormones are all over the show. :pinch: And do you have any tips to ease the mood swings?
