Acc 200 Flu Meds

The truth is that very few medicines are ever tested for safety on pregnant women because none of us are stupid enough to say "yes, test it on my unborn baby". Most medicines therefore are shown to not be safe or not tested. In this regard if you trust your Gynae, keep on trusting her or him. Obviously very dangerous substances that definitely causes issues should be avoided unless the dangers have been discussed and weighs up against your health.

Hi Moomies,

I didn't sleep last night due to sudden and terrible flu
Called my Gynae this morning and she advised that I can take Acc 200 tabs and Strepsils. Pharmacy no 1 refused to give the Acc 200 to me without a prescription. Pharmacy no 2 let me have it.

BUT not 20mins later the Pharmacist called my boyfriend and said I shouldn't be taking the Acc 200 whilst pregnant. So now I am in big trouble with the Man as I took it and will continue to take it as I feel happy that my Doctor gave me the go ahead.

I would like to know if any ladies has taken Acc 200 whilst pregnant and had "normal" and healthy babies?
