That's true, loosing the mucus plug does not mean labour will happen soon.

with my son I got to the hospital and realised I was loosing the plug but my water never broke or nothing funny happened. They actually had to break my water despite looking bits of the plug.

I've started taking brisk walks to help things along. but at this rate maybe I should stop and wait for little miss to gain a bit more weight....

I think so I am not 100% sure what it is. I had the milky discharge for a while now and as from yesterday it has changed to slimy yellow streaks. And what I was reading on Dr Google it sounds like it. They also said that it can take weeks before you actually go into labor.

I am seeing gynae every week now. We were supposed to start the weekly appointments from 36 weeks.

Lets hope we all make it to 37 weeks at least...

Yeah me 2 I went home after the appointment Friday and I felt relieved and glad that I have a Dr like my Dr I cannot say thank you enough to have him.

I have been leaking like a mad cow for weeks now and it's getting worse. My dad gave me a hug on Saturday and I had to go and change my bra. I walk around with feeding pads 24/7, I got feeding bra's at Toys R'Us on Saturday for R99 each and they are so comfy.

Oh gosh I see all of us not reaching our EDD's.

MommywannaB- my appointment was not what I expected at all. So baby weighs 2kg on the dot. Still very small
I was put on a monitor to see monitor baby's heart since my BP was a bit high. After laying there for 20 minutes I get told to go home, drink coke and eat chocolate and return after 1 hour.

I did that went back and get told to closely monitor her movements. She is not very active and although gynae didn't say anything, he emphasised that I should monitor her movements. I need to get 4 movements in 1 hour after supper...
So I'm not sure how I feel right now.

The pressure down below has hit me hard now.... I feel her down there....

MommywannaB- I'm so glad doctor has taken that approach. I think to give him more time in there is beneficial for him. He must just stay put. Talking about night gowns I woke up with my 1 boob leaking.... So I'm forced to get breast pads for my hospital bad. I didn't need one with my son until about a week after he was born when the milk came in..

I'm hoping I get some nice stuff from my work shower this weekend so I can get my bag ready. I have a funny feeling I may need to use it earlier than expected...

nunuza - I got a night gown on Saturday. The weather was so nice on Friday I wish it could stay like that.

soon2b - Thank you for the tip I will def make sure to leave all my valuables at home and just take my phone.

AFM I had my appointment with the Dr on Friday and everything looks good. At the moment we have decided to take every day as is and if something happens we will make a decision. So far it looks like the 1st week of March so Soon2Be maybe you will get your wish.

I am so tired today I cannot function. I am having a lot of Braxton Hicks and it’s frustrating me lol.
I cannot wait until Friday then I am off and I can rest. I think I am losing some of my mucus plug sorry if TMI but in my liners I see this weird yellow looking things and it’s not just a little bit.
