MommywannaB- to think gynae said she was 2.8kg at the last appointment.

Soontobemommy- to think I was hell bent in staying in that bath tub until I felt the urge to push. They had to slow down my contractions because my blood pressure was to high, otherwise I would have given birth on the 8th instead of 9th

GML - Yeeeah she has arrived congratulations. I am so jealous. Gees she is small. Please add pictures. I am so happy for u. Enjoy her.

Awww..welcome to the earthside baby Bonolo! @GML you almost gave birth at home wena! 9cm!! On the bright side, you had an easier labour because you missed most of it!

Congratulations and enjoy her! Stare at all you want because you can, and she's yours!

@Catshart - Don't be disheartened for real, I know it's not nice but she will be home soon. Just a few more days.

I used Uber to the hospital after hubby went back to work while I couldn't drive. It wasn't too bad but then again I also don't stay too far from the hospital.

To other ladies, take heart, it's happening!!!

Baby Bonolo is gorgeous. She weighs 2.4kg (I've been saying she's small).

I can't sleep I keep looking at her!!!

Hi ladies

Gave birth this morning at 1h25am. Had 1 contraction at 21h40 thought nothing of it. Then they started coming every 10min. They were painful and weren't giving me a break in between.

We decided to go to the hospital only to find that I was 9cm dialated

I had a 3 hour labour. I'm still shocked. Will post a pic soon

When I gave birth to my son he also had jaundice which they picked up the morning we were meant to be discharged. Needless to say he was taken to NICU add it war very high and I got discharged. It wasn't easy. I couldn't even breastfeed. The paediatrician told me that dinnertime breast feeding escalates the jaundice levels. He dais once it started dropping then I could start. So I pumped for the duration of his hospital stay. It goes up before it comes down. So don't be disheartened. She'll be home in no time.

Can hubby not extend his stay for a bit? You had a csection surely you won't be able to drive yourself to and from the hospital.

Use the time she's in hospital to sleep as much add you can. I used to take naps in the car.
