heart How do you know if the baby likes or doesn't like?

My boy doesn't like it when I turn on my back. On my sides he is perfectly fun, but the moment I turn on my back he goes nuts until I turn to my side again. I can tell it isn't a normal kick, he is quite adamant I should turn.

He is very active every time I eat, especially when it is something sweet. I can't tell if he likes it or not but he is busy busy when I start eating, within a few minutes.

Lately he has been busy during the day at random, with no pattern at all. The only other time I have been aware that he reacts is when his dad talks to him. And once I sneezed and he jumped. That was quite funny.

Such a good question!

During both my pregnancies my babies preferred me to sleep on my left side. I I was on my right, they would kick and move so much that i could not sleep

I guess you have a point there Zaza trusting my instincts will do. My baby has a sweet tooth she moves a lot when I eat something sweet and kicks a lot if I lie on my right & back sides

Hi Mommy

Very interesting question, I would like to see what all the mom's suggest.

As far as I know early in the pregnancy (before 26 weeks) babies movements are completely un-related to anything or rather has no definite pattern, their movement is just their body developments and twitches for normal development.

However I think for me my baby has a personality already and does kick or move when it senses or feels something, for example my baby gets very active when I eat veggies, but won't move is the bite contains meet, not sure if is senses flavours it's just a pattern I observed. Also my baby moves a lot when my daughter talks, but not when mum or dad talk to it.

I think your instincts knows best, if you uncomfortable with babies movements maybe they are uncomfortable or don't like something, but sometimes maybe their movement means they love it???

Mind boggling, right.........trust your instincts, mama knows best. :) :)

I'd like to find out how do you actually know if the baby likes or doesn't like something? Are the kicks they do different or we just need to assume  Say maybe u eating something or u are sleeping with the certain side then they start kicking. If any one knows how to differentiate the kicks please share....
