Amyreally that looks really awesome for a boy!

@lilly, I dont have pics of my first but what we did was because we didnt know what sex baby was, everything was pretty much white we had the theme of wild animals, when she arrived, we worked with all the stuffed toys that were bought as gifts which were bright colourful animals and hubby landed up buying her an elephant with pink and green, so we bought dark shocking pink curtains and had felt boards in shocking green up against the wall with pink cardboard and those stick on wall decals of wild baby animals. (we were renting so didnt want to go all out on the walls). Now that she is older we pretty much have stuck with the pink and green combo and it matches with her little kitchen. We will change up the felt boards with her drawings etc as she gets older, so she can get creative and do her thing.

Hi lillyr

I have a little boy so I can't help much on the girly ideas. Although it's really becoming popular to move away from the traditional pink and blues!

I will share a pic of my nursery though :) the walls are a purple/grey colour (we painted a year before I fell pregnant, and just decided to work with). The carpet is a light grey, turquoise curtains, and a feature wall with grey and white circles.

So I think it's still neutral but leaning towards a boy lol

Goodluck!

Hi lillyr

I'd previously insisted that since the room we are going to use as a nursery was only painted last year in a lovely light grey that we would simply do a horizontal divide in white and paint half in a lovely shade of blue. The idea was for a neutral nursery... but then since DH insisted on wanting to know the gender he's now convinced me to go with a new colour scheme.

We've decided to leave one wall grey, paint the adjoining walls white and the last one in a lilac. Then I've asked my talented SIL to paint a butterfly tree on the lilac wall using the grey for the tree limbs, white and other colours (light pinks, blues, greens, yellows) to do the butterflies.

Then the furniture and cupboards are white.
