Hi!
I think, as you're 9 months pregnant your insomnia depends on your position during sleep. Try to find one that you like, use more pillows and I hope everything will be okay!

Sorry Dalene

I am also experiencing some days of exhaustion and insomnia, think it does comes with baby growing and the due date coming closer.

For exhaustion I still occasionally only on the days I am extremely tired I use 1 teaspoon blackberry elixir in half a cup of milk, it does help a lot for energy and exhaustion, its safe while pregnant and breast feeding stages.

Unfortunately so far only cure for insomnia is catching naps during the day when I can. Cause I never get a full night sleep anymore between the 4 yr old and the preggy belly.

Also remember you have a lot going on my dear with hubby and helping him, so I am sure this is also giving you insomnia and making you exhausted its a lot to deal with when you pregnant, rest when you can, maternity leave is around the corner.

Always thinking of you hope your phone gets sorted soon.

Hi Dalene

I would suggest chamomile tea before bedtime, and if it is really bad, please see your Dr for a safe sleeping tablet prescription. Whatever he prescribes should NOT have benzodiapines in it.

Natural remedies like melatonin are NOT recommended during pregnancy, as the hormonal effects on the developing fetus have not been fully studied...

I hope that helps.

Hi ladies...

I am currently 31 weeks pregnant and with all the joys of pregnancy, I have been experiencing severe insomnia and exhaustion. I cant keep my eyes open in the day, yet at night time, I cannot fall asleep even though I am so exhausted. It is like my mind cant switch off.

Any advice? :(
