That's awful. Glad I posted the question and glad you found someone great. I loved my previous gynae, but Cape Town Medi Clinic is just to far. I actually don't have preference on male or female so male gynae is fine for me. Have you heard of a dr Brink? I called him yesterday am. I have left a message for Dr Schneider.

I would not feel comfortable to recommend you to Dr La Grange but saying that everyone has their own cup of tea but she made me feel very
unwelcome made sure that I knew I only had 20min of her precious time for which I have paid R1400 for a first session, sent me test results per sms and asked the receptionist to phone me with other test results.

I am also from swes! my number 1 dr is Dr white she is at Stellenbosch medi clinic but because my first born came early and we spent 3 weeks having to drive to Stellenbosch everyday I've had to make a difficult decision.
There is a big possibility that the second one may come early as well and we basically live across from Vergelegen mediclinic.. to make a long story short she referred me to Dr D Schneider (turns out he is dr to allot of my friends and sister)

There is however one gynea in Somerset West that I won't recommend as she did not have nice bedside manners and does not make you feel comfortable... I don't want to name and shame but if you want to know who I am referring to let my know and I will send you private message
