UTI in pregnancy

As long as u are on a safe antibiotic its all fine, its quite common to get uti's while pregnant, as long as you have it treated. I had plenty of them with my first daughter, but touch wood nothing so far in my second

Perhaps give your gynae a call if u r unsure, your doc cam also put u on some candizole

Hi guys

I am currently 12 weeks pregnant. I went to the GP yesterday as I was sure I have kidney infection, my lower back is killing me and I just feel miserable. Also threw up once. She did a urine test, but it showed only one + sign, she says it's not a bad infection, but it is picking up something. She did not call it a kidney infection, she says it's probably a UTI - and the part where my back hurts is also not where your kindeys are, it is too low. She put me on antibiotics (I also have a chest infection).

My mom is now very concerned about me and now she is making me paranoid. Do you think it's fine if I just continue the antibiotics? Or should I be more worried? Has anybody here had a UTI in pregnancy?
