My BH started a while ago already, just getting a bit stronger every week. Had it with prev pregnancy as well. I'm due second week of Sept. From this I take it you didn't experience it yet? It normally feels like your tummy/womb just getting very hard. If I've had a very busy day, the evening or next day I am just more aware of it.
But, I also feel like you, want this little girl out now.

So do doulas only help out in natural birth?
I will pm you for breast feeding advice. With my LG I had to have laser coz my nipples craked and they were really sore.This time I am planning on using nipple cream early but I have been hearing a lot about latching and breats feeding styles so I wanna be clued up.

And another weekend, and Monday, is over. Hope you all had a lovely time. Miggie, sounds like you had a lovely shower.

Well, we saw the gynae last Thursday. Baby S growing very well. Weighing 1.33 kg at 29 weeks. At the moment I am probably going for a c-section, dates: 6 or 10 Sep.

Today we had our 4D scan. Was so nice to see her with so much detail. I think she'll look a lot like her brother. He went with for the first time and really enjoyed listening to the heartbeat. The pics were not that great, since the placenta was laying between her face and the camera. I am still trying to figure out how to capture a still image from the video, since I might get better images.

As for traveling, I think you can still travel safely at 8 months but it depend on every individual. We drove to Kimberley this past weekend and although I was fine during the trip and doing a bit of sight-seeing, I'm not feeling to good today. My feet, specifically my ankles are so sore. Adding to that, I can actually feel the BH contractions much more today.

Had a wonderful weekend and the most amazing babyshower. Was so nice 2 c everyone i dont get 2 c alot! Got some really nice clothes and toiletries and nappies. Most clothes on the bigger side so all i still need 2 get madam is some small vests,babygrows,

A doula will meet you 3 or more times before your birth, give you education on emotional and psychological well-being before, during and after birth. Also any education you may need about labour and birth.

Then they support you and DH throughout the labour and birth, in any way you want to be supported.
After the birth, there will be a couple of post natal visits to help with breastfeeding/post natal depression/or whatever else you need help with!
