So can we post our services and products every now and again in the Pregnancy & Baby Development categories? That would be awesome as I agree with Vix - that's where we get a lot of business from.

i see what you're saying WRT keeping it 'clean'
but in that case i think i will return to PF when it's up and running because i am going to get next to no business from here and PF was my bread and butter. Without that advertising i get no sales.

I signed up for other forums last year that had a specific catergory for selling and i have never not once had a single sale from it.

WRT viewing website: i have a Blackberry so it views sightly differently i think.

Hi Vix, like Marijke said, this forum is a template, so unfortunately cannot change it. I also view from my phone a lot and then I use Opera Mini. It also works much faster than the normal cell phone browser.

The separate thread is exactly like you described.It's for people who want to sell stuff. For example, if you have a walking ring you want to sell, you can advertise it there. Hopefully people will know to go there when looking for something. You can off course put your business on there as well but that is up to you.

You are welcome to do it the way you always did it.

Vix: With regards to the viewing of the website, please make sure that you download the Opera Mini Browser on your phone. Go to m.opera.com from your phone and it will install if you don't already have it because it shows the whole page to you (like a normal computer browser) and you can just zoom in to read.

The layout of the forum is a template and not just a column that can be moved from side to side.

The reason for the extra category in the forum to advertise on is to stop people spamming the other category pages (case in point the current nappy cake posts), because it will be deleted. I know pampers allowed this, but there was no one monitoring it. We would like to keep the Categories clean with appropriate posts for that topic.

Are we able to get the usernames column on the left side?

When i view from my phone i have to constantly scroll to see who posted before i read the post and that is killing me. I'd then rather not view from my phone which mean i can only log in once every few days

ALSO without meaning to sound funny, a seperate thread for businesses won't nesicerily be that much help to us. We actually get most business because people are scrolling down the main forum page and see a topic they're interested in. For a seperate thread these people would have to be specifically looking to buy something from someone.

Like when Joli posts pictures, she usually just posts a topic like 'look how cute i am....' everyone looks even those not looking for photography then even those who never thought about photography suddenly become interested.
