I am patiently awaiting an sms but then I remember how long it actually takes to get stitched up and sit in recovery, get back to the ward, feed and hold baba, suddenly remember that you haven't told anyone about 3hrs later LOL

I won't ever allow them to insert the catheter in the ward before the op, I don't care how inconvenient it is for them. My op was planned for 3 and they wanted to insert catheter at 1.30. I finally went to theatre at 7.30 and had C at 8 so pleased I refused. I was so uncomfortable as it was that I had to get in and out of bed the whole time. Remember you're paying for the procedure it's not a favour! You have rights too!
