Morning mommies.

Mandy, can't make the 26th. C's family has booked us in advance coz June is my bday month and we have something on almost every weekend! But will make the next one.

Vix, I'm not sure about the pickled ginger. I know some Super Spars sell the John West brand. Maybe give that a try?

Nelria, thanx for the compliment. I've loved cooking for a very long time but I'm not sure where it came from. My mom hated cooking and she would put chicken, potatoes and beans in a oven casserole, bung it in the oven for 1h30m and that was dinner. She couldn't care less lol. She made really amazing crumbed steak though.

Simone, so sorry you're feeling sick. I swear by Linctagon but if you're already in full flu then it might not help. I drink a linctagon fizzy thing every morning and it's helped the flu stay away.

Zee, we also didn't have a great night. Here's hoping to a better one tonight.

Nelria thanks for the breakdown re:meds! U make perfect sense. taking Addy to doc with me at 10am...gp...to look at her rash. Then I'll get the meds u suggest.

Hope boeta stays put til your gynae gets back! Sounds like u are all sorted with planning, etc.

Zee that is nice....a play school where u can see how your child is doing! Good luck...hope u get her into a nice one. I've decided to keep Addy home for another year...so she'll only go to creche when she is 3.

Hi ladies

It has taken me forever to catch up so here goes.

Nelria at long as lo makes 38 weeks all should be fine. Dylan had the cord around the neck which isn't a hassle unless it gets trapped. Remember Dylan wasn't engaged and the cord settled at the cervix and was bulging out hence the emergency c section.

Zamzie as long as the food is from a reliable source then don't stress. Even sushi is safe. I actually like woolies sushi.

Mandy no water is shocking. Shame man. The paed will be able to tell you where to go re the drooling etc.

Simone Dylan has been coughing for 5 days with snotty nose and all.Even a bit yellow but no temp so will see. He coughs mainly at night like we all do. I am still just using the saline and suction.

P farly your kids are too cute man.

We had an awesome sleep yesterday and so are all back to normal. Many of the guests were not 100% well shame and the party ended at 12. thankfully.x

Vix have you tried asic?? Keep the tummy full. I ate cheese sarmies for months.

Mom of Dylan and Partner to Joerg. We live in the Beautiful Pringle Bay which is along the Whale coast, Cape.

Hi Nelria

Yip we have CONSTANT problems.. we live in Northriding which is close to Northgate shopping centre or between William Nicol and Malibongwe.. Problem is - our area was apparently developed as a rural area and it had an explosion of town house complexes too quickly. So the roads in the area and the drainage system have really collapsed. They are redoing the whole system of the next 3 months, down a 5 km road... they are completely redoing the road and its a flippen nightmare! they are doing all the pipes first then resurfacing the road as its fallen apart! We are a month into it and it actually amazing how you just find a way to get by! Sorry I know I complain alot! but you know, WHO ELSE WILL LISTEN! :)

Nel - sorry you cant make our next meet but thanks for offering on the next one! You are the best! GUys my house is so tiny, I really couldnt fit more than 3 ladies and babies at a squeeze! So please dont think i am rude not to offer! Although in summer, we can use the clubhouse at our complex once we actually have water again! :)

Camerons new words - open, more, HEY!! too cute :) how were your week ends gals!??

Julz hope you and hubby are recovering!

mandy - I will be skipping the yeesh meet purely as I know lea wont go with any stranger what so ever :( so for me babysitting is out of question but I will do the next housemeet with pleasure then boeta will also be bigger and u can all meet him :)

ally - as usual your food sounds so very delish and i could only wish to ever prepare such dinners and here u cook it as the norm - well done u are true chef at heart

yoza - long time no chat my friend so glad u and your kiddies are well - I am doing natural as far as I can, but the cord is already around his neck for now so i might end up in emergency c-sec so I am simply hoping for miracle that it comes off or something so i get my natural :) - re stimulation dont know lea is in school and on wknd's its usually outings and socials i plan to keep her happy

lisha - so cute re granny man your mum's must be well chuffed

pfairy - as always your kiddies look like models and yet again i am going to comment on the long hair WOW your mia sounds like real princess with her fantasy dress-ups

mands - lea also not into tv much and i also find her watching kiddies rather than the movie LOL - but as for drooling nope only for a day when teeth is close but after that hasnt worn bib since last year sometime

afm - had good wknd ate lots at boeremark, then genuinly surprised brett with his krugersdorp buddies on sat (he was so chuffed and appreciative) then had nice play on sund, at friends house (jingle jangle rained out) she has sooooooooooo much toys and gymnastic pillows, bikes etc lea just played without me for 2 hrs which was amazing - then brett joined us rest of day as he is at home from today so wasnt to worried too work yesterday, was super nice having 2 of us entertaining. :)

ok so onto last minute stuff now making cot up, washing, admin, phone calls etc but I am ready so not stressed much any more - even did lea's itinarary so whomever is watching her when I go in knows how much of what and when and ekstra chair already in ouma's car so she can also cargo lea around easily :)
