Simone- bless your hubby! Cute! Sorry your in laws are causing you stress again! I'm sure some people get a kick out of upsetting others! X

Sorry- someone keeps asking Elwyns reaction and I keep forgetting to say, He was fitting a safety gate on the kitchen door and I bought the test to him to say 'look there are 2 lines coming through, they're faint but they're there' and he said 'mmmmmmm' (ooops guess he was too busy for excitement) I left the test in the bathroom to see if it would go darker and he came back to me saying he'd checked it again and now it's dark dark lines. He was very happy and within 10 min he was on the phone to just about everyone we knew LOL I think we forget that it's hard on the men also every month when we have failed yet again. He's excited for another baby and he's sure it'll be a girl this time.

I am having terrible sleepless nights, now I'm worried I'll get to my 1st appointment and see nothing. I still have 3 weeks to wait so I will have to just try and calm down a bit.

I had about 80 uk pounds in my cubbord and my sister wanted to change it for rands so I have now got nearly R900 cash that was before laying dead so today I am going out to buy us all some new clothes and things we need.

It was nice having my sister here but boy am I pleased to have my house back to myself, I can't handle a house full LOL

I think my sister is planning to come out in the new year once I have had the next baby.

Hehe Simone. C couldn't tell the difference between a GHD and Mascara lol. No ok he's not that bad but he doesn't even notice when I have make-up on. For goodness sake. I look a million gazillion times better with make-up, no to him I look the same. So I wonder, the same wonderful or the same crap? lol

The Ion hairdryers are quite nice. When I studied they also got them for us. But nowadays all the hairdressers just blowdry your hair then straighten so they believe it's better to get a good iron. Although I still like a good ol fashioned blowdry. Gives you much more volume and bounce. My hair is too long and thick for me to blow dry myself (I'm actually just lazy lol)

We've had such a relaxing weekend. Just watched some movies (finally watched Avatar last night). And then had VERY restless dreams last night after I heard Lee-Ann Liebenberg is pregnant. I just though now I know 4 people in the last month that I've heard of that's fallen pregnant. Then of course I dreamt that I was pregnant and I woke up almost in tears. Just another sign that I am NOT ready for another baby! But I am starting to think that in 2/3 years it would be nice. But shoo then my kids are just out of their horrible phase!

I can't believe my mom had my brother, then me 7 years later, then my little brother 6 years later. But she wanted to give every child their own time with her until they atleast go to school. Her first pregnancy was at 20 and her last was at 33!!

Anyway,C's sister and maybe his brother ( I don't like his brother at all) are coming here today for lunch. So wierd because they NEVER come visit us but now I can't moan that we are always going there. Not really in the mood but atleast my brother and his wife are also coming and I adore my brother so that will make it a bit better atleast!

Just want to share re: my silly hubby. my husband is a lecturer... He came home very distressed one day because their practical side purchased very expensive ion blow driers....for it to be taken apart and 'fixed' as a practical session by students.

I'm telling u this man has been moaning...its nice, why didn't they buy cheap ones, etc.... My husband can be a real metro male...lol. He'll mention that one hair dresser has way better blow drying technique than another when doing my hair. He bought me a straight iron and had my friend call a few salons for recommendations....so he knows his stuff.

So friday I get home and here is one of these blow driers on loan. He said he checked the syllabus and he doesn't know when this practical must take place...so he borrowed it and I can use it until they need it for the practical session. If the blow drier works nicely he says he'll speak to lecturer and ask him to swop my old one for that one...lol. Cause they are just gonna take it apart anyways! He is so simple sometimes. He's been wanting me to do my hair since last night already.... He'll have to relax until I feel like blowing it!

Nicole hope the fever is not anything more serious than teething! Cute re: books! Sounds like he loves learning. I think Addy still thinks of play dough as a snack!Lol..

Today we had to read 'meno' over and over...being 'nemo'...lol. I won't even try and sound what 'dumbo' sounds like when she tried to say it...cause she wanted us to read that as well.

Mandy so glad cam is improving! Thanks for explanation...i thought it had to do with how fast they move or something...lol. Silly me!

Feeling so down and like an idiot.....i wish Gerard didn't come with the family he has....i can't believe such an awesome man comes from such a self righteous, hypocritical, hurtful and annoying bunch of people.... I just wish I never had to see them... And didn't care enough when they hurt me over and over....

Zee glad Ziani enjoyed the class. mmm stimulating things i use with K is putting shapes into the right holes, like Simone also animal/shapes/colours books, play dough to play with things like that.

Vix how are you feeling?

well our saturday has been okay, we went grocery shoppping this morning and K was well ehaved. He has had a slight temp all day, got worse around 15:00 but once i gave him calpol he seemed alot better. I think he is teething terribly, really cant wait for all of this teething to be over I have just put him to sleep now and plan to watch dvds and eat ice-cream

Simone we have also got that animal book, K loves looking at the birds in there and the baby animals, i love this books, they are so educational. I bought him a shapes and colours book today and he sat quietly for a few minutes looking through it and pointing at everything saying "pretty, pretty". was so cute.

Hi ladies

Had a nice meet with the mommalicious mommies in Tokai today. Weather was amazing and such a great place. worth the drive out there. Farm animals and jumping castle. We go there to meet friends but it is Dylan's first outing there.
He wasn't scared of anything and just patted the big pig and all.

Lisa is lovely.

Have read through all the posts and will comment on them at a later stage. Need to bath dylan and our computer will be switched off tonight for the painting. managed to convice neil to spend a bit more money and have a carpet fitted properly.

Hey , yes cam is much better, nose just running a little and his eyes are clearing up nicely. He is waking once through the night again and sleeps quickly so Im back to my well rested self too.. He is only having one nap a day now but today it was 3hrs 15mins so it was heavenly!

Gross motor skills is when the play with their whole bodies and fine motor is play when they sit down and use their fingers especially the pincer fingers - picking up little objects with finger and thumb etc.. its more concept based things like opening a lid and finding a toy inside a box etc.. so they have to concentrate and use the other side of their brain.
