Well ladies, I went to Nosipho's house yesterday for a playdate and MAN those toys are worth it! The twins played for 2 hours without even looking for me. It's all very educational. I have to say I would also do it. I mean it's not like she only had 6k to spend, she's always spending money whether it be on the house or the twins. So if I could I would also do it.

We are going to see how the twins will do with only one nap today. They are starting to take longer and longer in the mornings to go to sleep and their afternoon nap is also getting shorter so today we are going to see if they can make it to 12h30/13h00 and then see how long they sleep.
I'm just so nervous because it seems like when they don't have 2 naps a day, when they fall asleep at night they wake an hour later and they are wide awake, like they think that was their 2nd nap. So hopefully that won't happen tonight.

I'm going to make my own paints for them just now and then we'll play a bit to keep them busy before their nap!

Thanks all for your congrats, I'm very excited although a whole lot less stressed than the 1st time. I'm also starting to feel nauseaus which only started at 8w with C, hope I don't get it worse this time like Helen!

Helen- sorry to hear you're feeling so bluuurg! So I think you're about 4w ahead of me or is it more? Cool we get to be preggies together!

Pfairy- your night away sounds lovely! I have yet to go up there by the cradle of humankind but I think I will make a point of it before new baby is born.

C was a short 81cm when I went for vaccinations but I think she measured a bit wrong, his head was slightly above the numbers.

Simone, I was just about to come post about the Dry Comfort! Going to go get some tomorrow.

So I have some very exciting news (not as exciting as Vix's...thank goodness for me lol). I'm going to start doing restaurant reviews. My first is Saint Verde Cafe in Northcliff. The meal will be complimentary and I will be conducting an interview with the owners and then writing a review for my blog. How exciting! I hope this opens new doors for me. In the meantime, I'm still working on a cookbook. Just trying to fine tune my niche market and what the book's main focus will be! Hopefully big things ahead!

I Just typed a nice long reply and then I got a stupid error and lost it. Normally if I click the back button after the error then my text still remains but this time it dissappeared bohoohooo!

Feeling very today, said to DH yesterday I'm absolutely sick and tired of feeling sick and tired lol. I have some days where I don't get it all and then other days where its there morning and night. I even wake in the middle of the night feeling sick, bleugh. Can't wait for this stage to be over, its most unpleasant!

Lelani - Hope your lil man gets better quick quick and that the nappy rash doesn't get any worse, damn those antibiotics, I hate them for the nappy rash side affect. Whenever Oliver has them he ALWAYS gets it.

Went and had another look at our house yesterday to measure for curtains etc, its going to be lovely but wow have we got a lot of work to do, its going to take us years to get it to where we want it. I'm very excited though, its going to be our own little project

Popped in to PnP yesterday to pick up a few groceries, I went ahead and left DH entertaining Oliver, he was a few steps behind daddy and the damned electric door closed on my poor little boy! I was horrified and he is now supporting a rather nice shiner on his forehead poor little mite. I wasn't a happy bunny. The store manager was very good about it and said he'd have them seen to the very next day as the sensors obviously weren't set properly for little people. Not cool.

I'm sorry I haven't replied to everyone, my first attempt was definitely more thorough but I'm really sorry I can't remember it all now...
