C refuses to be covered when he goes to bed so what i have been doing is putting a hot water bottle on the sheets to warm them, take it out when i put him in with the duvet folded open. Then when he is asleep i pop in and zip his legs under the duvet and he has been sleeping through again YAY!

Julz - I think maybe I'll get one heater and see how it goes. It gets freezing where we live at the moment and Oliver's room is the coldest in the house, without the heater on the temp drops to 12deg in the middle of winter which is obviously way too cold...hopefully won't be as cold in the new house as at the moment we are on a small holding and it gets mega cold here - we often have to scrape ice off the windscreen in the morning in winter, bbrrrrr! And thanks for the tip on the panado thingys, will prob take atrip past the pharmacy later ;)

Nelria - thanks for the tip, will keep my eyes peeled, not sure if I want the leathery type ones or fabric ones but I'll def have look ;) I also think thi preggy is gonna be way different from the 1st, I was super healthy, had shiny shiny hair, lovely skin and didn't get sick once, I felt like I was invincible when I preggy with Oliver lol! This time round I'm breaking out all over the place and I've succombed to the first cold I come into contact with!

Sent my couch cushions in today for the stuffing to be topped up, yay, hopefully they'll keep their shape a bit better when its finished.

Lisha - Glad you're feeling better but you are totlly mad to go in to work earlier!!!!! Hope Shrey isn't coming down with anything nasty, it seems as if change of seasonhas hit a fair few of our LOs.

Wow, sounds hectic what happened to Cathy, shame man, poor little thing.

Oliver has just gone in to the kitchen and asked if he can bring me the biscuit tin so I can open it for him and give him one, too sweet :)

Hi mommies,

Sorry i did read up last night but my phone wouldn't let me reply. Now I've forgotten most things but will try to catch up again when I have time.

I hope all the sick babies are a bit better today and the sick mommies too!

Work was fine, long, i left home at 4.30 and got back at 8. I had to drop all the eqipment off at the ladys house at the end of the day and then she had the cheek to try and cut me short on my fee. Had a serious few words with her and she is sorting something today. I covered her ass and basically did her job for the day and she wants to pay me an assistants fee and a low one at that! Grrrrrr

Looking forward to our meet tomorrow, it's been a long time since we all got together and it looks like most people are coming.

I have a super busy day because my sister arrives tomorrow and sunday morning I'm taking her to naboom so need to get everything done today!!!!

We're having a photoshoot with Tertia again on Tuesday! Can't wait!

Morning mommies

We had an okay night. Shrey seems to be getting sicker - his nose is either runny or stuffy - touch wood no fever yet so hope it stays that way.

I'm on the mend, feeling much better this morning and last night forced myself to eat some of my mom's mutton breyani - lol it never tastes as good :) My mouth was on fire but I stuck to it....

Nelria Lea sounds too cute :cheer:

Helen hope you feel better soon. Glad that Oliver is on the mend.

Julz glad you enjoyed the survey. Lol you are talking about using heater and we're still using aircon at night, Shrey can't sleep without it.

Zee I completely echo your sentiments regarding the baby killed ....... it is so senseless :( and depressing. How is Ziani?

Simone what happened to Cathy? How's Addy's leg?

helen - Wow that is early dinner, my mum also said its wishfull thinking as she would then wake crying for food - darnnnnnnnnn

zee - love love love the foto of u and Z - wow so many professional pics on here :) - on sat I will get someone to take preggy pic of me and paste one with face and boep LOL

Helen - I was sick a total of 4 times with this preggy - way more than usual and if u get really sick u can have antibiotics - but other than that u also get over the counter cough medicine safe in pregnancy - just ask pharmacist and gynae everything u can use :)

Helen - Re - beanbags if u talking about those leather ones they sell next to the road then there s 2 places in pta they can usually be found at - my sis bought her boys some there and their leather and in small and adult sizes and not sure of price but I can stop and ask - or I can just tell u where to go on sat?

Helen - the one place is actually on hans strijdom and not even 5 minutes from N1 rigel turn off which u will use coming in on sat in anyway - u take rigel turn right into hans strijdom pass highschool waterkloof then u should see them on the left going down the hill - once u get to Mcdonalds u can turn around again as then their not there (only a 10 min - 2km detour from where u would go in any way :)

Sweet Nelria. She is so good.

I did the survey last night after work.

Helen the panel heaters are excellent and I feel safer as they don't get that hot to the touch and you can safely leave them on all day plus they use less electricity. We have one in Dylan's room and one in our. It takes the chill off which is what you want. Babies room should be fairly cool.

Mom of Dylan and Partner to Joerg. We live in the Beautiful Pringle Bay which is along the Whale coast, Cape.
