Morning mommies.

just a quick pop in before my hectic week starts! Had a good weekend, although a scary experiance on Friday eve, K was eating supper and chocked......eeek was so scary and shame poor baby cried a real heartsore cry afterwards :(

Lisha shame man that must be terrible. Maybe the anti-biotics will help heal the pimples/rash on your body or prevent it from spreading. Get better sooon mommy!

Helen FX for your gyne appointment, let us know as soon as possible although i am sure everything is fine ;)

Okay ladies I better be going.WIll catch up later

Hi mommies

Hope you all had a good weekend.

Helen fingers crossed that the spotting is nothing. Enjoy your first gynae visit :)

Julz how is Dylan? Sorry about the split lip.
Shrey tried to avoid his cereal on Saturday morning and bumped his chin on his high chair and cut his tongue on his tooth. Poor boy blead and cried a little but soon forgot.

How did all the other baba's sleep?

So I am only sticking around the office for a little while this morning. The pimples on my hand got worse by Saturday morning and was then also on feet and a couple on my tongue. Went to doc and he said viral infection = hand, foot and mouth disease :( Probably picked it up at the office or shops - who knows. Not sure how contagious this is but feeling like a truck ran over me so either way I don't think I should be here.
Doc did say Shrey should be fine. Gave me antibiotics - not sure what that will do for viral infection but anyway .........

Hope you all have an awesome week.....

Morning ladies,

Thanks for all your concern. Got an appointment at 11.15 this morning so fingers crossed it all goes fine, will let you know as soon as I can. Crappy time though as its right in the middle of Oliver's nap time lol, think I'm gonna have to try keep him up all morning and try put him down this afternoon instead.

Christi - That sounds pretty hectic at the interview. Good luck with all the work.

Zee -I'm sure Z will love Kindermusik.

Julz - How's Dylan this morning?

Have a good day everyone :)

Morning ladies!

Christi, that is so bad about the company ... At least you now know, hey. Are you guys still going away this weekend? Remember to let me know if you want to drive with if you can go to the meet :) Would love to see you and Iris again.

Z is starting with Kindermusik on the 1st of May, looking forward to it. The lady is English so I was afraid that the language would be a barrier but she's got a few Afrikaans kids already and she is positive that language is not a problem at all.

Ally, that's a bummer! Hope the two had a better night last night.

Helen, hope you can get an early booking so that your mind can be at ease. Please let us know. Oliver sounds so cute!
True about the sharing, it is really embarrassing when you kid throws tantrums about her stuff ... IN the meantime, I'm just showing her how to share by giving her stuff and then taking stuff saying it is now mommy's turn, etc.

Hope you all have a very pleasant Monday. It is such stay-in-bed-day today. Wish I was at home!

Hi Ladies,

Ok, so I found you, didn't have time to read the posts....
Hope you all are doing ok?

Went for an job interview on Friday, WOW its a big company but they treat their employees like sh@t! AND they are not even embarassed to tell you in the interview that you will be required to work overtime WITHOUT pay!!

OOOH and i took Iris for her Measels shot Thursday and was sooo nervous cause with the previous shots she cried a lot afterwards, but I was sooo proud of my angel, she just gave the nurse a very nasty look and did not cry or moan at all!!

I am gonna be very busy for the next 2 weeks, the tenant in the flat at the new house has moved out and we decided to go and have a proper look at the place  wow can't believe someone can rent out a place looking like that. So we are going to have to fix it up (more than a bit) before we can put a new tenant in but we don't have a lot of money to spend so most of the work will have to be done by BIL & myself :)

Well, hope you all have an awesome week!!!

Julz sorry about the bad night.

Ours also didn't turn out like expected. The twins wouldn't go to sleep until after 9 and then C and I proceeded to some...mommy and daddy time lol...at 12h Abi FREAKED out and stopped our 'time' just as it was becoming fun. Took 20 mins to get her back to sleep and then at 5h45 Aidan woke and his nappy was soo full and it had started leaking so he was getting cold. I atleast slept for 2h with them today so I'm not too tired.

They're in bed now. C is sitting there but it sounds like the 2 monkeys are asleep! :)

Helen, holding thumbs you get an appointment for tomorrow!! Can't wait to hear what the dr says!

Simone, did you enjoy the wedding? Did you get something nice to wear?

Evening,

We've been out all afternoon, trying to keep myself busy ;) If I'm honest I don't think its anything to worry about, I hope my intuition is right...eeeek! Even though I say this I am still worried lol, I guess its just the way the imagination works hey. I just hope my gynae can squeeze me in tomorrow, really don't want to have to wait long to see him, just for peace of mind.

Vix- I'm 8 weeks now...already thinking about how quicklythe time will fly, especially with the move coming up...

We took Oliver to a playground today, he was so chuffed with himself for climbing up the slide, he's quite the daredevil, climbs all the way up then comes down head first...that's definitely inherited from his dad lol, Theo used to be one of the crazy kids.

Julz - glad you had a better night but shame, the split lip sounds eina.

Zee - Don't worry about Ziani and the sharing, it will come with time. I honestly don't know how Oliver will be around other babies as he doesn't really associate with any at the moment. Once the move has happened and we're settled in I want to start him at creche a few days a week so hopefully that will help...
