I had a rough night what with the bloody puppy setting off the alarm after chewing the wires which woke dylan. I felt worse but met with someone only one the way home my chest felt really closed and sore so I went to the doc and I have bronchtis. Taking cortisone and antibiotics for 10 days.

Sorry ladies, don't have time to do a proper catch up, just had some really crappy news, its a long story and I can't be bothered to go into it but basically mum was planning to stay until September but now it looks like she may have to go when her visa expires which is 22nd May...eeeeeeekk! Stupid home affairs, we tried extending her visa but nobody knows what they're talking about and then we were thinking we could just cross the border with her but it doesn't look like that's going to work either so she may have to go. *Insert balling my eyes out* face here. I'm beside myself, no idea what I'm going to do about sorting someone out to look after the kids, I soooo don't want anyone else looking after them

Anyways, I've been wanting to share this pic with you for a while and I finally took them off my camera today, this is Nina in one of Vix's famous ponchos (Oh, and I took her to the ENT, she's fine so its just the teething, she cut her first tooth today!)

Hey everyone

The first day went well ... for Ziani! She was excited beforehand and shy in the classroom, she was a bit afraid but kissed me goodbye. She was just very concerned about her bag ... Then I walked out of the room with big fat tears streaming down my cheeks (I'm not a pretty crier). I drove off and ten minutes later the school called to ask if I was okay (really!) and told me that she was quite happy. Later on they called to say that she had a few bites of porridge (not much since she hates pap!) and that she had a music class. I called later on and she actually slept and had a good lunch. This afternoon when i fetch her she was sitting alone though, playing on her own but the caretaker said that she played with the maatjies a bit earlier so I hope that's true! Shame, and then later on she said she wants to go to the daymother so hopefully se will be keen to go tomorrrow. The daymother called me twice (in tears!) to tell me how they are missing her.

Any hoo, I'm really exhausted, what a busy at work and I'm not still not through all my emails!

Vix, I love the pics, the twins have grown so much and C is such an adorable boy.

Zee, how was Ziani's 1st day? I am dreading having to take Iris to creche next year, I prefer the day mom & less kids, but this day mom only looks after them until age 3

Vix: The pics are just so adorable. The tweenies have really grown and C looks so cute and a proud lil man feeding the babies.

Nicole & Helen I agree, definitely in need of some R&R Only a month to go till I'm on 2 week holiday. DH is being really good and letting me sleep undisturbed this week if Shrey is restless.

Helen hoping all is good with Nina ... gosh the earliest teething was the worst

Re potty training - Vix I am so not above bribes lololol. Think we need to get some cheap cars or stickers too. Mind you I'll never get away with rotating the cars, Shrey remembers every last one and if he can't find a specific car we must go in search of it - bear in mind he can't tell colours well so we don't have a lot to go on

Helen Shrey has never pee'ed in the toilet of potty so think Oliver is still ahead there. It's just easier to tell when Shrey needs to poo Need to get Shrey to stay in briefs and allow him to wet himself ... just not up to cleaning the mess afterwards lol. He loved being in his brief this weekend so must just stretch the time a bit more.

I so wish I could sleep now ... going to have a nice snooze in the car when dh fetches me from work.

Thanks Simone, Cloves to help feed but he's quite rough, he pulls their mouths open and shoves the bottle in LOL but they can handle a bit of rough now they're bigger
