Lisah I have a fear of spiders and I had to act seriously brave so as not to scare him. He loves them, but I have noticed that he is becoming more scared of them as he gets older. He won't touch the spider I made for him. He loves it but runs away when I try to hand it to him.

I read that there are certain things that we as humans are naturally scared of. Spiders and bugs and reptiles are some of them.

Vix hope you got more sleep Jono sounds too sweet.

I have a baby shower on the 14th of May. I am free on the 21st.

Nelria, a few more days and your in your own place who oooo, but got to agree with the other ladies, your mom is proberly acting out, because she is going to miss you and the kiddies, my mom did the same thing when i moved out - was very offish to me for days.

afm, well i am flipping exhausted K woke around 1:30 crying for me so i went to lie with him but he was tossing and turning and i could see that he was struggling to lie on either ears, so he woke around 02:00 crying/moaning that his ears where sore so took through to the lounge and gave him so ponstal and let him watch cartoons until 03:30, he eventually fall alseep and now seemed fine this morning again? his been on anti-biotics for 5 days already, surely the infection should be gone by now? And besides for last night he hasnt complained about his ear's being sore since Sunday? Sent him to school this morning as i need to finish a few things up, but with strict instructions that if he seems miserable/crying they must phone me and i will pick him up, booked a Dr. appointment today at 15:30 to get his ears checked again, but i think this all comes down to those extremely enlarged tonsils which are not allowing his ears to drain naturally.

Julz I felt a tiny bit bad that the lizzard died but that soon passed because I am SOOO afraid of them. I still have a nervous feeling when I'm at home even though I know it died Seriously need some sort of hypnosis or something because Shrey is starting to be afraid of them due to my reaction.
Thanks for the tips re flying. We're flying Singapore Airlines so will check on their website if they mention anything.

Pfairy when do you guys leave? I agree you're one organised mum to have gotten things sorted for the kids already.

Nelria few more days so don't stress about your mum ... I have to agree with the others though that she may just be a bit disappointed that you guys are leaving and can't just express that.

AFM twisted my ankle when we got home yesterday, no swelling but very sore ... not sure why since no swelling and my back is so sore since the night I slept on my mum's bed Feel like an old woman lol.

Maybe we should meet at JHB Zoo if you're round the corner (might have to bring hubby though not too sure about public places with all 3 kids or maybe I'll leave C at home and bring the twins.

Julz- agree totally Ally was fab, so professional! I didn't even follow the recipe I was too busy smiling my ass off at my very impressive buddy.

We have a wedding to attend on 29th Oct, ages away but it's a week after our 4th wedding anniversary so I booked us a place to stay stumbling distance from the venue so we can leave the kids with people (probably 2 sets of people for their sanity) and go alone for the entire day and night. I think it'll do us good to get away and have fun and we'll both be able to drink cos we don't need to drive.

Nel- sorry things are getting petty at home, soon hun you'll have your own space and you and your mum can start to re build your relationship. Do you think maybe she's lashing out because she's scared to not have you in the house anymore? Maybe she'll get lonely without you?

P fairly you are such an awesome mom. The kids love those bags on wheels.

Lisha the airlines are usually fantastic. Emirates give wonderful bags with goodies to keep the kids busy and if your kid loves tv then no sweat. The mini tv's keep kids occupied for hours.

Nelria I recon your mom is just very very emotional with you guys moving. I know they bitch about you being there and look for things to argue about but truth is they are going to miss you and the kids and she knows it so she is just passing the stress on to you.

Helen probably too late now but daktarin is the best. Expensive though. You can also use medaspor.
