Hi Ladies.

Mandy and Zee, sorry that your kidlets are sick! I hope they get better ASAP!

Zee, how far are you now?

Helen, try not to worry about Nina's hip. I was in a state before Abi's appointment for her legs and it was nothing. And if there is something, they are catching it so soon that they'll be able to fix it chop chop! :)

Nelria, here are some prawn recipes :

Lisha, sorry about your bad night. I was so sure bad nights would be a thing of the past after 2 but we also have one every now and then.

Julz, sorry about your headache! But wasn't the wine worth it?

So I can now tell you abit more about the charity function I'm organising. I'm working with another blogger, JamieWho (Andy) and we are doing a charity cook-off. We'll be supporting 4 charities, each being represented by a team consisting of a Celeb chef, a blogger and a few members of the public. They'll be cooking a 3 course meal and the winner's charity gets a cash prize. BUT, we want all the charities to get something so we are looking at sponsors for 4 different amounts (ex R50 000 for 1st price, R30 000 for 2nd, R20 000 for 3rd and R10 000 for 4th) We'll also be doing a auction before the cook-off and we'll be asking entrance fee which will include bubbly and snacks. That money will be split between the 4 charities. We are very excited because we are almost 100% sure my FAV supermarket will be one of the sponsors and I'm going to try to get some celebs on board... Nataniel, Jenny Morris, Justin Bonello etc. We also want to get a comedian etc. to be the MC of the event. The 4 charities will be :
1. CANSA
2. WAR (Women Against Rape)
3. Child Welfare (Kindersorg)
4. Animal cruelty (not sure which one yet)

What do you ladies think?

Hi ladies

Nicole lol @ thinking it's Friday ... if only! Did K sleep better last night? How did the printed pics come out?

Helen will be thinking of you & Nina tomorrow. Please let us know how the appointment's gone.

Oh no Zee. Hope Ziani feels better soon.

Nelria wow the banks really giving you guys a hard time this month :( Glad you got some results after being stern. Lea sounds too cute.
Re iron meds no Shrey isn't on any. I did try him on the Vidaylin with Iron a few months back but it constipated him so we went back to the regular Vidaylin syrup. Think we really need to get him de-wormed this weekend, forgot about it for too long so now it's on the counter ready for him to have on Saturday morning.

Mandy hope Cam is feeling better this morning and doesn't need to go to hospital xxx

I had a tough night with Shrey. He moaned a lot about his foot paining last night but wasn't crying so we did not give him meds. I was feeling very cross with him this morning but hey what can one do. If the de-worming doesn't help his sleeping then I will take him to the paed for a checkup.
Nelria I may just try the pedisure or nido for before bedtime but he's such a fussy bugger he doesn't usually want anything to drink before he sleeps grrrrrrrr.

Hello,

Thanks for all the support, we're all fine, we knew it was coming to be honest and she's in a much better place now so its all for the best. The hardest hit will be Theo's Aunt, she's lived with his Gran for about 15 years so I think she's going to feel very lonely once all the well wishers have moved on and she's alone in the house with no adult compnay (she has a 10year old daughter but no man in her life - and no interest in one may I add lol).

As for AF, yep I'll join the club, started mine on Monday, hating it as since having kids the pains I get on the first day are horrid, never used to suffer with pains or anything but now I do

Vix - Hope you have a better night, glad Julz was there for you when you needed a shoulder/ear ;) You will come right with C, its just a case of finsding the right solution and doing what's best for both of you ;) Thanks for asking about Nina, she is sooooo much happier on the Isomil, having very few problems now, we were struggling with constipation for a couple of weeks but now I'm putting a little brown sugar in her bottles and giving her about 100mls prune juice (homemade) she's getting more regular and softer so we're happy for now. Started her on solids a week ago and she is LOVING it, she was a little fusspot at first (I honestly can't believe how fussy this child has been lol!) and really didn't likke the Purity cereal so then I tried Nestum and she gobbles it up. I tried her again on Purity but she clamps her mouth shut after the first taste and refuses anymore lol. She's sleeping much better now she's getting more to eat as well thank god!

Yoza - The pics are so cute! Congrats on the weight loss ;) You go girl!

Simone - I'm sorry your finding the time apart from G so hard, it will be over - you guys will be so happy when you see each other again ;)

Mandy - Shooo, I'm sorry Cam is so sick! That's hectic, I hope you manage to find a solution to the carer story...

Nelria - Keeping FX you get good news from the bank, it must be soooo frustrating. Theo and I actually opened up 2 credit cards about 3 years ago purely for the purpose of generating a credit history, one of them has sat in credit for the 3 years we've had it and the other one we used to buy something once in a blue moon and pay it off immediately lol (I hate credit cards and what they can do to your finances so we are super careful with how we use them) but I'm sure they helped when it came to us getting a bond. Its often the way in that the more money you owe the more banks are prepared to offer you...backwards or what. As for the Brett and Lea story - my MIL babysat for us a couple of weeks ago and let Oliver get up out of bed to watch TV with her (GRRRRRRR!) and now he tries it on maybe once a week or so, its soooo annoying! And as for having another, obvously I wouldn't mind either way but I think I lean ever so slightly more towards a boy, but I think that might be because Oliver was an easier baby but I'm not really too fussed. My mum also says that she found 3kids easier than 2 because she just HAD to be more organised, my eldest brother was 5yrs old and my other brother 22months when I was born...

Starting to get a little nervous now, we take Nina for her appointment on Friday to have her hip checked out, really hoping its nothing...

Anyways, I'm sorry but I have to cut it short as dinner is going to spoil if I don't get off my behind and get cracking lol ;)
