Nelria sorry about your meltdown, i to remember those times, it happened on a number of occasions when K was around that age as well. You are handling it great though!!!!! I am glad to hear that Lea enjoyed her party

afm, well when we went to fetch K yesterday the teacher said that around 15:00 he wasnt acting himself, he just wanted to lie down, was quiet etc, she also mentioned that another child in the class has had tonsillities. so we took K to the docter and like i thought he is just suffering from really baaaaaad heyfever! His ears and tonsils/throat were perfect. He has now been put on a corizone noise spray for the bad hayfever seasons which is basically from September until March grrrrr, but there is no other option I cant have my baby be miserable all the time. He was very well behaved for the docter, when he asked K to open his mouth K opened and went "aaaaaaahhh" lol, the doc said he was the best child patient he ever had

no time to reply to anyone. I completely forgot I have a Taste&Tweet event today.

So I'm up at 7 while my little family are all still fast asleep. Need to get ready. Need to fetch my stupid brother's ( ) gf at 7h45 and then I need to leave for JHB. I pray the traffic will be good to me, but it's a Friday...I need to be in JHB at 10. For tasting wine and cheese..have you ever?

I just had a nice bath and 15 min on the massager so I hope hope hope tomorrow I don't feel so sore, I've been fine for a while now and today just messed everything up. I couldn't sew or do anything that had me standing for long. Terrible.

I washed all the babies clothes today, what a lot of clothes one needs to have twins! With C I only ever had a weeks worth of each size and I don't have much more than that per tweenie but times it by 2 and it's 2 washing lines full! And blankets, wow, so many blankets and sick rags. What on earth am I getting into? LOL I must say though the second time around one is wayyyyyy less bothered with ironing all that crap! I remember ironing everything of C's before he was born, today I folded every grower or vest and just put it straight in the wardrobe. I have about 6 items to iron total, now that's more like it. Sadly though I think I have to iron all the receiving blankets otherwise they just don't look so nice. I'll probably do it once then when the tweenies are here everything will go straight from the line to the cupboard and if it's lucky it'll be folded neatly.

Helen- yes I also have an appointment tomorrow, 10:30 but knowing my gynae it'll be more like 11:30/12

The tweenies are very pushy today, both pushing out the front. I wondered if they're trying to turn but Dr said it's unlikely becvause there really isn't space unless they both try to turn together like syncronised swimmers LOL

Helen 37 weeks. When did that happen?????? It is always nice when others decide for us. Only problem with that is later on you may regreat that you didn't make the choice yourself. Odd how our minds work. Good luck for tomorrow. Glad you enjoyed olivers birthday and I well done on being so positive about the other issue.

Vix I am also sorry we didn't take Dylan and now they are fully booked here in CT. You can do an 8 session course if you can go 4 times a week for 15 minutes at a time. That is what they do at the one school here.

Ah Nelria. Brings back memories of those early days with Dylan. Not easy at all so I really feel for you. It seems you handled it really well. x

Vix we will have to see. It will be a very short stop over sadly. I think I will arrange a stop over on the next trip and visit you. x

Helen- oh my! 37w5d and you only just took a box of baby stuff out the garage....... Are you willing this baby to come early by not being ready? LOL Hope you and DH have been up to lots of hanky panky to try and get the ball rolling naturally. I'm sure it's been a really tough few weeks for you trying to decide what to do and yes if the gynae makes the decision for you at least it will take some pressure off. The main thing is that YOU and theo are happy with the outcome. Either way you will have a healthy baby that's a definate I'm sure but it's what will sit best with you emotionally and physically for the healing. My biggest piece of advice is to have no regrets because time is something we cannot regain and therefore shouldn't let it control us. But woman please get the baby stuff washed!!!!!!! If Dr books you in for a C-sec monday morning you're gonna have a hectic weekend! Still can't believe you've basically come to the end already! Seems so recent that you posted your BFP!!!

So I am a bit angry at myself for not having taken C swimming lessons now that he is so crazy about the pool, he's asking to get in every day. I don't want to start lessons with him if suddenly I have to stop for the birth and when I suggested DH take him I got no response. I wonder if there is anyone who does a 2 week crash course rather than a long drawn out thing?

Nelria- hun I am sooooooo feeling for you right now! I remember those mini meltdowns like they were yesterday, I actually want to cry for you as I read! It seems to be a thing about this age hey? C got worse than ever around the 5m mark and it was really more than I could take. That said I don't really have any suggestions for you other than sleep training which is really not going to work when you're in the same room hey? Hugs to you my friend, you're gonna need your holiday next weekend.

Lisha- will be great to finally meet you when you're here. Maybe the best thing to do is for you to let us know roughly where you're staying so that we can arrange something somewhere easy for you to get to since I imagine you'll be needing a lift from family? I will definately pop out to meet you in Feb but will see if I bring the kids or not.

Jessica- if Nelria does stop by you to collect something on tuesday then I will probably send the clothes with her.

Nelria- Meags is going to give me some things for me to pass to you for SimoneK so I'll give those to you on Monday.

Vix - Thanks for the fx, I'm not actually sure what I want to hear tomorrow, in some ways I just want the decision to be taken out of my hands as I still really don't know what to do for the best. I think I'm hoping that the baby comes early so that I can try deliver naturally and then it won't be such a monster...chances of that happening are probably pretty slim though. Only problem is appointment is only at 4pm so I have the whole day to stew until we get some answers. Good luck for your appointment as well - you do have one tomorrow hey?

Nelria - Sorry about the meltdown hon, these things happen though especially when sleep deprived, hope you have a better night tonight.

Nicole - Sorry about K's stuffy nose, I'm having the same problem with Oliver and I'm sure its hayfever and allergies, not nice fat all. And good on you for the doing something for the kids

Holy cow I've just read all the posts and my mind has hit a blank already!! Can you hear the cogs turning, they are on a mega go slow today...sorry I really can't remember anything else

Oliver's birthday was nice, didn't really do anything special, took him for a haircut and just enjoyed the day with him and my mum. We got him a bike and he was very impressed, now it'll just take some patience on our part to teach him to pedal Also got him a little play dough bucket and he's dead chuffed with that as well (so was I as it only cost R50 and its full of stuff ).

Otherwise not much to report, starting to feel reeeaaaally tired now so mum can't come to stay too soon. Have a handful of friends and family coming over on Saturday to celebrate Oliver's birthday and then after that I plan to take it easy.

You'll be pleased to hear I have started to get myself organised, I haven't done much as yet but I've at least found the box of baby stuff in the garage and have brought it into the house so will start washing it all in the next few days. Will probably pack my case over the weekend...

Anyways, that's me over and out, I'm off to catch some much needed zzzzzs Will try log in tomorrow night to let you know the outcome of the appointment.
