Vix keeping fx that baby 2 has picked up weight by Friday.

Nicole YAY on K not needing to get tonsils removed just yet. My nieces doc also wanted to wait till she's over 5 before removing them. She battled with them a lot in till she turned 3 but in the last 2 years it's only maybe once or twice a year so it hasn't been such a necessity YET. Hope it's the same for K.

Nicole- it's actually amazing to hear of an ENT or any Dr for that matter over here that doesn't immediately want to take tonsils out LOL

When i moved here i got tick bite fever but the 1st GP i saw took one look in my mouth and saw tonsils and said "mmm tonsillitis we'll have to take those out" i have never had tonsillitis before in my life. Needless to say i went to a different GP and got the meds i needed for tick bite fever LOL

seems like they must make a pretty penny selling tonsils on the black market here in SA because almost everyone i know has had them removed LOL

Helen- i forgot to say, I've been getting my preggy vits as sample packs from the gynae, every time i go the lady gives me 2 sample packs and this last time i asked for the preg omega PLUS to try and they contain an extra calcium/magnesium tablet which helps with the leg cramps. Maybe try them out? I know you can't just go taking regular magnesium because it relaxes the uterine muscles too much but these ones obviously designed for pregnancy with the correct dosage. or just speak to your gynae and ask about taking magnesium for the leg cramps. Would be nice to get some good sleep in before baby 2 arrives!

Lisha where are Shrey birthday pics

afm - was at home with K yesterday as monday night he was so quiet and didnt appear to be himself and then woke up with his eyelids a bit swollen yesterday morning. We had his ENT Appointment yesterday, he said K's ears were perfect no damage or mucus or anything in his ears, however he said that K's tonsils are really BAD! But he feels that they shouldnt be removed this year, he wants to try and postpone for as long as possible, but said if K gets tonsillites three times between now and mid next year we need to go back so he can re-asses the situation. yay!

So sorry i didn't get to come back on yesterday but the BB wouldn't load Moomie at all yesterday so i was kinda lost and too sore to sit at the PC.

Angie- think i might go get some of those bath crayons this month ready for when the tweenies arrive, need to try and occupy C in the bath whilst I bath babies or he might get jealous.

Yoga sounds like a lovely idea but i cannot bend forward at all because the pressure on the ribs just sends a searing pain through my whole torso. I have though been using my exercise ball and trying to curve and stretch back on it as much as possible, it definitely gives a bit of relief but as soon as i stand again it's sore. I honestly don't think there is anything i can do for permanent relief, it's just one of those things having a short body and carrying 2 babies, my body is bound to suffer at some point.

Was chatting briefly to Lelani yesterday and we were saying to be fair, to get to 30w (Friday) with twins and have had no complications so far is great really so I am thankful for that.

Just hope on Friday the Dr has good news on Tweenie 2's growth. DH is calling them by their names now but i don't know it just doesn't feel right, i have said all along that i will only name them when i see their faces and although the bigger one most likely is Alex i just can't bring myself to use the names.

I was watching 'in the womb multiples' again yesterday, i like to watch it often because i find one always listens more to the time scale relevant things so this time i focused on 30w+ and of course for multiples that means close on birth time. wow i was so emotional watching these tiny little babies be born into the world, even at 30w they were prefect just so so tiny!

Mandy- glad it's a bit quiet at work because then we hear from you at least LOL

Mandy the musical Barney brush is awesome - as soon as Shrey hears it he comes running. Hope things pick up a bit for you - it's terrible when it's quiet cos the days just drag then.

Helen good idea to not push yourself if you're already battling. Hope Oliver is being a good boy for his mommy.

Pfairy I also don't know how you hold out with the gifts, like Simone I would battle lol.

Nelria I see on fb that your big 'baby' is ill now ... good luck hehehehe. Same thing at home - dh played golf in the rain on Sunday and now has the flu ... he thinks he belongs in a hospital lmao!!!

Shrey has been having a good week with sleeping as he's getting very tired during the day at mils. Downside is that we're not getting enough quality time with him in the evenings Sure it will be better next week when mum gets back from Jhb.

Shame Helen - sounds like you do need to slow down a bit. Hope you work it out soon and the Oliver starts sleeping better for you. Im starting to guess that we have no idea how hard the second pregancies are, since we didnt have a toddler to run after the first time... we could ALWAYS put our own needs first to relax, sleep, take it easy! Anyhoo! its almost over Helen, VIx & Zamzie - and at least youre almost half way Jess!

Gals - I promise you when they tantrum simply calmly walk away. The dont know how to react. The usually stop very suddenly, Then follow you with a bit of a howl. Then i turn to go back to him and say, if you stop crying and talk to me, then I will come and sit with you? If he carries on, I walk away again and sometime go into the next room. He calms down immediately and then we talk to negotiate! The negotiating is starting to take the place of the howling right from the start, now when he starts I can say, NO, IF you get dressed first, you can have your toy back, or If you get dressed first, you can watch tv etc and his little face nods and then he does what is required.. Ive learned that the more you help them do what they want, the more they seem to want!! The more they learn that you are calm and in charge, the more they fall in line - no yelling, no smacking, no chaos from mom anymore!!

Also when we go out now, he knows that I will not pick him up from the start, unless he is really tired AFTER walking first! If his dad is with us, he runs after him moaning with his hands reached towards him and I say to hubby - dont pick him up and then he will walk.. but Dad doesnt want him to tantrum so dad picks him up.. I actually feel good about this, I know that when Marc is ready then Cameron will do what he is told after a few tears..

Guys - its really quiet at work and Im quite bored.. Im sitting here trying to think of things to do but i hate admin so its driving me crazy! The worst part is that if its quiet for us now, it means thats it for the year~!! and for half of Jan too! So I better start being practive here!! GRRRRRR - and i dont have enough leave to be able to take some time off!!

Nel hmm - brusing easy now huh? I think we will have to get barney, x gel and mirror now!

I got home and Addy was so excited to see me. So we blew out 'cankles' again and again! And sang. She loved it. My friend bought an extra gift just so she had something to open up today.a princess set with shoes, bag, tiara, etc! She was like a little madam! Will post pics tomorrow.

Addison ASKED 3 times today to wee wee! I'm one proud mama!
