Oct/Nov 2008 mommies!

Hellooo everyone!

I am in such a good mood today - and I cannot pinpoint why! I think it's because I just realised that I have sooo much to be grateful for, I have a wonderful, supporting, loving husband who is an absolute amazing farther! And my LB is the best thing that ever came into my life, when I look at him, I cannot believe he is mine, he is just such a blessing and a wonderful miracle!!! And I think the weather is also uplifting my mood, I am a summer person, and I am generally happier in the summer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nelria - I cannot imagine what Sexy hexy must be going through - it is extremely sad and heartbreaking!

Vix - I must say when I was pregnant, I did not pick up a lot of weight either - had a huge belly and the Biggest BOOBS! I agree with Simone - I loved Truworths maternity wear, it is still stylish and very comfortable! I also just bought myself a lot of tops - not maternity - just a few sizes bigger - those ones that fit under the boobs, and come out over the belly (i dont know if that makes sense), I also had 2/3 nice maternity dresses - from Truworths, that were so comfortable and really light and cool for the summer!
Can't wait for the belly pics, and scan pics! Your trip to Naboom sounds so nice - hope you are going to have a good time and relax!

Nicole - last day at work today! Hope you feel better?!

Lisha - hope Shrey had a nice birthday - and that he is feeling better!

CJ had a nap yesterday - so he was a lot better last night! He did wake up at around 3 this morning, and wanted to sleep with us - I also think he is teething, as he is drooling a bit the last few days!
He had a swim yesterday and just after it I wanted to dress him as we wanted to go to Spar, he refused to put a nappy on, and ran to the grass with his legs wide apart and peed, he turned around and came running towards us clapping and shouting yah!! Then he climbed up the couch and lied down and said ok - meaning I can put his nappy on now!!!!!!! "Ek kon hom dooddruk" - sorry a lack of the correct English words!!!!

Well I obviously go back to Benoni after the meet but maybe you can ask her where she stays because I do a fair amount of driving round JHB. I wish I could also donate things but now I need all the baby bits I have, bad timing I suppose because next year I'll be donating double.

O.k feeling a little less numb today so maybe I can reply to some of the latter posts of yesterday.

Lisha was MIa yesterday so I presume she took the day off to be with her sick boy, poor thing hope he's getting better.

So I think we are done with the deed until after the birth, After intercourse last night I started spotting, just very very light pink spotting but it was enough to freak Elwyn right out especially after yesterday I was telling him about SexyHexy. I don't mind though, it's actually a HUGE effort for me now. I think it was probably just a luittle leision from when DH first went in because it was a little uncomfortable at first, either that or my cervix is a bit soft but I will mention it to my gynae tomorrow when I see him. I haven't had any spotting this morning so I'm not too worried.

C had a terrible night on tuesday after sleeping through on Monday, why do they do that? Give us false hope, I was laying awake thinking Julz had directed her boomerang in my vicinity but last night he slept through til 5.30 again and is now asleep in my bed. I actually had to get up because there is no room for my 2 boys and their fat mommy in that bed today.

I had a maternity top on yesterday, I don't like them because they're so big and baggy I look fat but I was at home all day so didn't worry but twice yesterday Elwyn made a comment that I looked 'comfy' I think that actually means 'baby you're getting huge' LOL Oh well back to my regular extra long T-s for a while I think, if I don't feel sexy I'm gonna get irritated by how HUGE my belly is. Although I still think I am struggling with weight, I think this month I will be lucky to have gained 1kg which would leave me at 1kg total weight gain in 5.5m oh well, good job I have a few extra fat reserves to keep me alive seeing as the babies are taking everything else. Will try and get Elwyn to take belly pic this morning so I can post today because tomorrow we drive directly out of the gynae's parking lot to Naboom, do not stop, do not pass go!

the jhb ladies coming to meet where do u go back to? - i dont know if u lot got the simone thing on fb but i want to do parcel with boys stuff and send it to her (also a pram if she doesnt have one) but waiting to find out where she stays then get back to u maybe u can cargo and she can fetch or something

for the ones that dont know its a june mummy lost her job, house, etc and she and 4 kids in 2 rooms in jhb looking for work so we trying to help with donations

Vix I saw that...it is so terrible re: Sexy Hexy. Wow...just shows how with pregnancy we are really at the mercy of our bodies...and no time in the 40 weeks is a safe zone:-( I immediately thought of you and I just pray your twins will come right at the end when they are meant to!

I am getting paid tomorrow FINALLY for my NON ADULT/PORN RELATED SIDE LINE JOB! lol. AND he has another job for me..so more money! YAY!!!

I soooo nearly got C to poo on the potty just now, He asked for a nappy so I told him to try and sit on the potty and I sat on the toilet because I also needed to go, he was very inquisitive and asked to see my poo LOL and then sat on his potty but didn't poo, he just took paper to wipe his bum like mommy did LOL very cute though, hopefully soon although I think I need to line the potty with paper or I'm going to be scrubbing off poo every day, gross!

Vix is it sexy hexy?? I am so sorry for her. Please send her my love and tell her I am thinking of her through this difficult time. x
