Lisha- I'm pleased your party went well, ag even tea and cake becomes a big thing by the time all the family pitches up. I will take a pic of C's haircut for you but I don't think I have any of how long it was before.

Zee- ah your little baby is all grown up joining the bigger church group! Cute! How is her sleeping? Any problems with your resident spook lately?

Christopher has taken a fascination to his comforter and pillow so much that it goes everywhere, inside outside, bedroom bathroom kitchen, everywhere he goes he aslks for his dudu. I don't mind though, he just lays down and relaxes for ages which is quite nice, gives him time to ay and think about things. I like to keep his mind active and open and he certainly gets enough brain activity from the garden and his imaginary friends, this child doesn't really play with many of his toys, he prefers sticks, leaves and poo LOL

Nelria- so sorry to hear about Rex! That happened to our dogs when I was 7w with C. Luckily Elwyn had to drive to Botswana that day so got up at 3am but I promise you it's a hideous sight to see your dogs suffering from poison. We phoned our vet at 3.30 and took them straight in but he said if we had've gotten up at 7 like usual the dogs woul've suffocated. They use something called 2 step and it basically causes the lungs to fill with mucous and they suffocate to death over a few very painful hours. 1 teaspoon of this stuff is enough to kill a full grown rhino! It looks like little poppy seeds and they sprinkle it over food scraps and throw it over the fence/wall. Maybe just check your boundries for any more. If we have an active night here and I hear dogs barking a lot I go out and check the front garden before letting anyone out there, I would hate to see C pick up anything like that. As it was I wanted to string the bast***s up by their testicles and feed them 2 step by the gallon! We no longer keep our dogs out the front, it's just not worth it, they are so easily by-passed but sadly that means they suffer. Breaks my heart into tiny pieces!

ok ladies so CRAPPPPPPPPP night last night REX our rotweiller died man it sucks he was such a sweetie and remember my folks even paid R8000 last year for his op just to extend his life due to his nature anyhoe we suspect rattex as my dad is battling the rats and he thought dog wont eat dead rat as he left one out to test rex but who knows it could be that or thiefs dont know my parents drove around to 4 vets last night at midnight before getting one to help but it was to late so super sad and tired.

xen has also been waking at 4/5 (like his sussie) for a week now and this is killing me as he feeds every 2-3 hours anyway at night and have big poop session at 4 man these kids of mine and sleep suck.

having pics taken today a friend of mine is photographer and hired lights so she wants models so some school friends and ds and babes coming over - we all visited on friday and aranged it babes are 3mnths, 2x 6mnths, 1yr, 2yr and 5yr between 4 mums

went to dinner friday had lovely seafood but way to much wet to crawdaddy's to regroup on buiyng house etc was nice but by 10 we were both pooped and so over our bedtime its silly - both exhausted on sat

did nothing all sat - oh went to boet in pm

sun met at plantland with 2 mummies - one a friend from school havent seen in 14yrs was so much fun and going to see her regularly now too (oh the other also from school) but we hooked up year ago and been friends again since then

on the 25th a friend is moving to cape town so we are having big bash - all old school friends very weird how many of us stayed in area and in contact and if meet later just pick up again where left off - i have maybe re-coneedcted with about 20plus and all see regularly again now

Morning Mommies.

Hope everyone had a lovely weekend, the party i suppose to attend on saturday, ending up actually being my pamper party lol, the birthday party was just a front to get me there. As i walked in the door my mom, sil and maid of honour starting singing this song to me, they thereafter dressed me up in a dress up bride to be tiara and veil,sash and a garter, they also put really bright and glittery make up on me, K just started laughing at me. when opening the presents i had to guess who they were from and explain how they felt, eg, hard, long, soft, short lol, was very embarresing since my gran was there, he he.

I got really spoilt and lets just say, DF is one happy man

after the present opening we had a glass of champagne to toast the wedding. K was so well behaved, he sat with another 2 year old boy playing with the ballons and eating cupcakes. I actually didnt hear a peep out of him.

Hi ladies

Hope everyone is having a great weekend. Once again we sit in the dark! For the last 2 hrs. Now we're all in bed and Shrey is watching a movie on the laptop.

Party was a success and as usual it feels a lot bigger than u expected it to be. Shrey was good again so I'm a proud mummy.

Mandy glad u guys are getting over the gastro now and that it didn't get too bad.

Zee I can just picture Z to get under your skirt lol. She sounds adorable.

Hi Vix, yip its the same farm.. 3rd year in a row this year.. definately an annual thing. QUite sad that my hubby has never come,, has never had leave over that time - as we pick the time a time at beginning of summer in their cheaper time also when the schools are NOT on holiday so that they only have a few kids and all young kids not is school yet so that its more kiddy friendly
Vix - at our antenatal classes they say if you worried about movement have a little choccie or coke and lie down after 15 minutes and you should feel them move around for sure.. I had also forgotten that feeling! I had some of my close friends call with preggie news today - finally they will know how it changes you! They think we became boring and didnt want to go out on purpose - but they will see how tired they are and what a mission it is in the beginning - just when we are going out again and used to our little one!

We went to Kindermusik yesterday and it is just amazing how sociable Ziani has become. She loves the classes. And this morning I went to church but took her to the 2-3 year class. She was shy in the beginning and she tried to hide under my dress, I had a battle to keep my dress down! Luckily she started playing with the maatjies and enjoyed herself ....

Vix, glad the tweenies are moving again! I remember how anxious I was when Z was not moving!
