Aaah Vix C sounds so cute and such a big boy!

I must say I don't feel comfotable with holding his willy, and when i tried the one time and he pushed me away I was actually happy that I didn't need to do it again!

I think reading your reply the biggest thing I must get over is that there will be spills and messes and that's ok - the thing is to make them feel they are doing good and as you say they will master the trick of aiming correctly sooner or later!

hello ladies!!!

Well things have been quite hectic on my side, work related and also my SIL (the one that had 3 miscarriages and is now pregnant again) is in hospital as she started spotting again. She has an incompetent cervix and her gynae can only do the "stitch" when she is 14wks so it seem she will have to be in hospital on strict bedrest until then, which is in 3wks time. I really pray that all works out for her.

Then my cousin who is 30wks pregnant had to have an emergency c-sec as he blood pressure was sky high and the baby was going into distress. Her LG weighed 1.3kg and she so tiny but mommy and baby are doing well.

Nicole, almost time for the big day. I am a sucka for weddings so I am loving all the wedding talk.

Can't remember much else but just wanted to say hello to everyone!

Angie- i NEVER held his willy, just didn't seem right to me. He started by himself using the potty, i just left it in the bathroom but at first he basically stood over it and held my hands and weed freestyle (usually all over the place. I think only after he had started peeing in the potty freestyle did he think about holding his willy, i never asked him to nor expected it to be honest he just saw now that's what daddy does. The first week of him holding his willy was disastrous, he usually pushed it sideways and peed down his leg but i never said a word and eventually he got it right. He loves to pee in the garden, way more than the potty. I don't like it too much so when he goes outside to do a pee i cheer and congratulate him then tell him 'panties back on please' and he comes to me to put them back on. If i put trousers on over the pants sometimes he forgets he's got no nappy on and has an accident so i either leave him in underpants and T-shirt or watch closely for when he touches his willy because he first checks out if he has a nappy on.

i think if you have a garden then let him run around naked or in underpants, he'll soon realise he's getting wet if he doesn't think carefully about it. we try to ask every 30min or so if he needs to wee and sometimes he just comes to have his underpants removed for no reason and sometimes he tells me 'uhhhh no, no no, wee' then i know to leave him well alone LOL

Lisha - I must say he does look super cute - I got home early one Wednesday and saw him working - he did not even notice me- the nanny puts on a hat for him and puts on a LOT of sunscreen!!! So much that his face is completely white from it LOL!

Vix, I must also say CJ's nappy is also dry a lot, and we use 2 nappies a day, but he refuses to sit on potty too, he loves peeing standing up in the bath, but he does not hold his willy, and when I want to hold it for him pointing in the potty he pushes me away!!! He is definetely aware of everything, and when DH goes for wee, he goes with and pulls his shirt up and pants down, but does not want to go to potty points to the bath?!?!? Maybe I must take him outside to wee?? I did also buy some undies will start trying over weekends! Vix - your adivce please - you are afterall the current potty training expert and queen!!!

Okay attempt number 2 at posting ... think it's going to be a problematic Moomie day!!!

Vix you may be right and I think I will try him on a regular potty now. We also have just the smaller toilet seat and he does nothing on the toilet yet.

Angie CJ must look so cute helping the gardener ... that would be heaven for Shrey too lol. Wow that was an awesome night I'm kinda jealous lol.

Tks guys I am being very strong. Can't imagine starting this from scratch again. It's been 5 days now and he's cried for it all of 2 or 3 times which isn't bad at all. I'll just have to make up with extra cuddles. Will e-mail Ara now to see how Ethan is doing after a few weeks and how long he took to adapt.

Lisha- i think the dry nappies are probably because he's holding his pee until he really needs to go which is a great sign! C does that for hours, some days we use 1 nappy in the daytime because if i ask often enough he doesn't wet it.

Sorry about the 4am crying session but be strong, he was probably having an off night, C did that last night between 9.30 and 11 and kept asking for milk but i refused and in the end he slept til 5 so not too bad.

Lisha - sorry to hear about the cry this morning - keep strong mommy, we are proud of you!
