Oct/Nov 2008 mommies!

Just finishing my 8th layer of chocolate cake for 2 cakes this weekend. One is a 3 layer cake for a 21st, the other for a christening. Phew! I don't think there's an area of my kitchen at the moment that doesn't have chocolate smeared on it.

Ally, do you know of a certificate you can get from the council that clears your kitchen health and safety wise - someone was telling me about it the other day. Apparently someone comes to your house to check that everything is in order and you don't have cockroaches running around!!! Do you have a fly problem around summertime - aaargh they drive me nuts.

I'm glad you girls don't mind me asking. I value peoples opinions of their experiences.

Right, have to go pick up my fresh flowers from the florist for the 3 layer cake! I think I'm on track, I'll find out tonight - or better tomorrow morning when I can't get out of bed for pain!!!

Nicole - you should start relaxing now and stop stressing, enjoy the last few things that stil have to be done, you'll see everything is going to fall in place perfectly!

awww lol thanks Vix. I must be honest the reality actually hit me wednesday night! So now I am really excited but very stressed at the same time. My main thing is drawing up the schedule of the wedding morning. We are getting our hair done at 10, it will be my mom, maid of honour, flowergirl and then myself. I want to be out there by 12:30 then will go straight to the Hotel to get ready. Will have about 2 hours then toget everyone ready including K as he will be with us can you see how excited I am lol.

Vix fx that you will make 37 weeks, but Im sure you will!!

K came on exactly on 40 weeks without any warning besides my water breaking at 11:00 that night, and that night for some reason i just couldnt relax.

I would love to make it to 37w, i won't be going longer than that because it will be Christmas and i ONLY want my own gynae to deliver these babies and also must be crappy to be stuck in hospital at christmas time.

Ally- at my hospital i have to book the bed at 20w which will be next friday after my gynae apointment so I will probably just pop up and ask about when i can look at the NICU and i will be booking my 4D scan then too, wooo hoooo! I was told it's better to have a 4D earlier with twins like 26w so I'm getting excited for that too! oh man I am getting excited all over again!!!!!

I hope they will give me a private room again this time considering if i get to full term I'll have 2 babies in my room. luckily i know a few midwives there fairly well from the Baby Bear things i do so i can beg and plead!!!
