yip Dylan goes down at the same time every night and wakes crying at 11. Now he wakes at 2 ish too.

vix I really hope it is just the cot. I think he would sleep better in a bed. He seems really uncomfortable and the cot mattress is actually quite thin. Maybe too thin for his weight and the cold might be coming up from underneath.

Man I really hope this changes. He was sleeping so well. He seems to be in discomfort.

Julz- what about looking at your routine and jiggling it around a little or adding in some leg massages, i found C was restless at around 1 year and started to stretch and pull and rub his legs after his bath and it seemed to help, i persumed it must have been growing pains. also you know when you fall asleep and you get that kicky leg syndrome, well I'm sure they can also suffer from that.

Can you add some more magnesium into his diet? My DH has had trouble sleeping for years and i was reading Patrick Holfords Optimum nutrition and it recommended Magnesium, he was sleeping really well for 2 weeks and suddenly the waking started and he realised he'd forgotton to take the magnesium for 3 days and voila the sleeplessness and leg cramps were back. now he's back on the magnesium and sleeping really well again.

afm - 1st night no cramps can i get a whoooooop whoooooooop??????? xen slept from 7-11 then till 3 then till 7 usually he sleeps from 7-12, 12-3 3-5 cramps then till 6 then 7 so last night was AWESOME

also lea slept from 6.45-5.15 woooooooohooooooo daddy really loving her unbroken sleep

last night i had both kiddies alone YIKES for single mummies with multiples - so luckily grandparents in same house (not that they did more than quick supervision grrrrrrrrr but atleast no crying then)

so lea home at 4, xen woke 5 we went out with prams (lea pushing hers) then fed xen bottle while lea on my lap watching telly - gave lea sandwhich for dinner(left both with granny for fixing it) then fixed both baths(got them from granny) lea in big bath, xen in small, dressed xen, dressed lea (ouma holding xen) then gave xen boob while sitting with lea - both asleep by 6.45

oh and to brag then i sat down to nice oxtail stew - homemade (ok i did prepare that at lunchtime with no kiddies but stil) LMAO

Lwasi- CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! and you'll be back for Cristmas which if fantastic for the family! Go for it girl and ENJOY!!!

Lwasi- thanks, he has been very interested, especially since we found out about the twins, we watched the multiples DVD and now he tells everyone about multiples and the different ways they occur and hoe he has fraternal twins.

oh man i also forgot to tell you guys, the other day he declared to someone that the next 'batch' is on it's way LMAO

I think because he is the only one i actually get to speak to every day i tell him everything and he quite enjoys learning. It's great because the better he understands the better he'll cope with helping when the twins arrive.

Oliver's bum is looking loads better thank you and he seems a LOT happier in himself, we haven't had a poop yet this morning (by this time yesterday he'd already had 2) so hopefuly he's on the mend

Lisha - I'm so sorry for your husband's loss, thoughts are with your family.

Lwasi - FX for the Pakistan placement, sounds like it could do wonders for you. And stay strong with your ex But a big pat on the back for keeping in touch with his family, you are one very strong mummy

Julz - Have no idea about Dylan's waking...sorry. Oliver doesn't wake up crying often, the frequency has definitely increased but its only maybe once or twice a week that he'll wake up crying...

Damn I spoke too soon, Oliver's just had a poop so I have to go change his nappy, will try finish up replying in a minute

Juls I wonder what up with Dylan, I hope it gets sorted out soon.

wrt crying Amu does that every now and then and will also toss and turn, I just calm him don I also dont know what to do.
