Oct/Nov 2008 mommies!

Thanks Ally, we are planning to have quite an "informal wedding". The structure so far is as follows:

The Hotel has givin us the option of getting married by their pool area which absolutly divine (will post pics) the cermony will take place at 15:00 they will set up the pool area with chairs podium,red carpet aisle with rose petals, and then I can add my personal touch such as the organaza tie backs etc.

After the ceremony we will get our photos taken by the beach.

After photos will have a celebratory drink and light snacks by the pool. We then move to the venue that will be set up casually. Will do yellow and white decorations (love the things you showed me ally) I will do invitations etc, but dont think i will do seating plans and all that jazz, need to sit down tonight and make a list!!

Then we will have our first dance, then light "finger food" supper and then dance the night away he he Df and I will book ourselves into a room there that night, and my mom will look after K

I must say ally you so good at organising and creative.And such a great cook.

Nicole, I knew from the start what I wanted so it was easy for me. If you can look at magazines and photos and get an idea of what you want with the decor, flowers etc. then it makes it so much easier. Also, start looking at dresses and see what you like. Then go to a big store like Bride&Co and try on as many as you like, that way you get an idea. Figure out if you want seating arrangements, name cards, menus and all that coz that can be quite expensive unless you do it yourself. ALso, think of the type of bouquet you want. Small/big casual and 'messy' or formal and structured. I can help you with all of that. I can send you a lot of ideas..just need to know what you are looking for.

Nicole, dont worry about the time, just get cracking!! You will have such a ball planning it! ENJOY IT ALL!

Here is Julz post - its very very long now.. but really, Julz just posted a link for research suggesting why natural birth has positive effects on babies health medically. Then between comments which were pros and cons for natural and c- section, some gals took peoples comments as personal attacks on ladies who chose c-sections or had to have c-sections. As we all know, Julz doesnt judge, even she had a c-section, she was just sharing information..

Nelria: please dont start with the brownies i just had a healthy lunch green salad humus on the side and a pasta salad with spinach, mushrooms and some nuts. I downed that with lipton ice tea.

Now that you mention brownies im craving dessert

Simone 3 months I know crazy...but df is insistent that we dont wait til next year.
