Andy the thing is, i did not even notice all the blood and gore all over Liam when they showed him to me, I just saw his face and wanted to hold him so desperately.

RM - did you have someone in the room taking photo's with all your children!?? How did you get that right? I had to cry to convince them to allow my sister to go into theatre with me as well. The lady at Panorama was so nice though, that she eventually said it was fine when I called this morning - YEAH!!!!!!

I told Dh that I only want pics of the baby. No part of my body on any of the photo's whatsoever. I don't think I would ever recover if I saw photo's of myself cut open. So, if the paed takes our photo's, someone needs to look at the photo's first and delete any that shows my open tummy in it. DEfinitely don't want stitching up photo's - I think I would die!

Unlike Julz and RM, I can't even read disturbing books or watch disturbing movies...... It is my mother's dream though to be able to witness an op - she says preferably brain surgery!!!!! Yikes, I can't believe we have the same genes. I am going to show her these pics tonight - she is going to LOVE it!!

Now you all go and get your popcorn and your immodium (for nausea) I still need to post Isabelle's birth photos ... coming soon to a forum near you .....

Didn't think of that. I hear some docs now allow you to feel the head and birth the baby??

Charneney Neil hates blood but was okay in theatre. He got a bit light headed when the paed called him over to see Dylan. I got no stitching photo's as the paed took ours and was then busy with Dylan.

RM - that is crazy I am going to close my eyes and put music plugs in my ear so I don't have to see or hear anything - DEFINITELY not going to try and sneak a peak in the light! Yikes!!

I am also wondering if any mom who had natural birth will be brave enough to post her pics here, how about pics of that area being stitched up after tearing. Should be equally disturbing.

I am looking forward to a brave mom posting her natural birth shots on this thread - I think a stretched v-jay-jay might not look too comfortable either.

But I think when having the c-section you are relieved that there is a little green curtain, however I could not prevent myself looking at the reflection in the large light over the table, so I still got to see just about everything, albeit a bit distorted.
