Girly, don't worry if baby doesn't move as much. I was panicked about a week ago as well because all of a sudden I was only feeling 1 or 2 moves per day and they weren't as strong as the ones I had gotten used to. Then all of a sudden, it was back!! I think sometimes they lay with their backs to us and kick the other way then we don't feel it as much or something. I think as long as you still feel a movement every now and then, it's fine. It's also still early days for us so don't think we need to start counting kicks yet either. I was almost in tears the one night because I had not felt her and then when I went to lay in the bath, she gave me a few TINY moves

Yep I was gonna say the same thing, you are tall and thin, so youre allowed to pick up more.
I am overweight and fairly short so I cant.
I saw a girl a few weeks back, she was 22 weeks and had picked up 12kgs. Everyone is different is what I've realised. I am carrying predominantly low, below my belly button.

Wow I'm not nearly that organised - well to be honest I'm also just too tired after work.
We still have to build kitchen cupboards in May, and sort out the linen cupboard, and in June we put in cupboards in baby's room, and then only can we start painting, and getting everything in, and buying the last of what we need.
But I want to be done come end of June or Mid July.

Girls I still get so worried sometimes.
This little girl was so active on Wednesday, then yesterday hardly at all, except for a little bit at night, and today also 2 tiny kicks but that's it. I'm almost 22w now. Should I be worried?

Blessed - from the belly pics, I think you were skinnier than us to begin with, so you needed to pick up more weight. I am only meant to pick up 12kg's in the entire pregnancy, as I was already overweight and apparently it really starts packing on now in the last few months, so I am glad that I have not picked up too much. But, a friend of mine is meant to pick up 27Kg's, so she is already at 12KG's at 6 months. Our bodies are all different.

Girly - yip, I am going to Panorama, but my gynae is based at N1City (Dr. Carmen Barker). She delivers at Panorama and Louis Leipoldt as well. She is happy to try VBAC as long as placenta moves out the way. Maybe all that shifting yesterday moved the placenta instead of Emily - It was so bad that I am bruised!!! I bruise very easily though, but still!

As for packing cupboards, etc. I am so impatient that I did that AGES ago - but then again, I started buying baby things before I was even pregnant !! I plan on taking all the labels off things this weekend and removing packaging etc. to start washing the things since the doc is still convinced it's a girl. Hell, I even plan on packing the hospital bag this weekend LOL. As you can tell, I am in a hurry!

O ja, about the weight thing.. I'V ALREADY GAINED 10KG'S!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I feel like crying and it is really very bad for me!! I'm not eating unhealthely, but i just keep on gaining weight!! Is it baba that is so big or what?? any way, know i can chat to you guys about it, because you know how I feel!!

Thats great to hear.
The placenta can still move up between now and then so dont stress too much.
How long ago was your op? VBac after 18-24months is usually not a problem, hopefully your gynae will be willing to.

You plan on birthing at Panorama correct? Who is your gynae?
My due date is a little behind yours, 24th Aug, but maybe we'll see each other

Shame hun the prodding doesnt sound nice. I think our baby's get comfy so they have no motivation to move. Think little girly's like that at the moment cos I only feel her on the right. Last week she was all the way on the left.

609g wow! So you're at a stage where she could survive now. Lovely!

Hehe awesome on the weight. I've picked up about 4 or 5, I'm too scared to get back onto the scale. But gynae scale is 2kgs 'nicer' than the one at home so I dont mind so much

Only 3 more weeks till my scan!
Finally started sorting out the filing at home. I have a lot of it to shred / burn so that we can make space for other things in that cupboard - like nappies.

Anyways, I must get back to work. A lot of targets to meet.

All looks well with baby, thanks. But, I still have placenta previa - need to see if it will change before 35 weeks. If not, then they'll plan a caesar - placenta is blocking baby's "escape route" If I have natural, it will also be classed as VBAC because I had an op to remove an ovary a few years ago, so have scarred tissue and bikini cut. Just glad all is well with baby and that she is healthy. Doctor really, really hurt me though - she tried for 15 minutes to turn the baby so she could see what she needed to and Emily had absolutely NO intention of being forced to turn. Every time she got her to move a tiny bit, she would move right back into the same position. She was lying all curled up in a little ball with her legs straight over her head.

Doc says she is going to be very tall - she is 609GR, not sure of the measurements, but apparently 5cm's longer than average!!

And...... I have only picked up 4KG's!! Not sure how that is possible since I look and feel like an elephant I kept getting back on the scale just to make sure I wans't looking wrong, then got DH to get on as well to make sure it wasn't broken!!
