Sjoe i look away for a few minutes and you guys chat up a storm! It was miserable this morning wasn't it? I sooo hate winter because it still feels like midnight when that alarm goes off in the morning... its cold and dark... and all i can do is sit here and think summer is on its way... solstice is on 21 June and then it will start getting brighter in the mornings... slowly
Pink mommy - at least now you know what it is, i am sure once the meds start working she will be better, but yes it seems all our babies are going through the same and we can only home it passes... or organise teamwork... Ill babysit all the Joburg babies on sat friday if someone else does saturday... lol (if only it worked like that huh? ) the sadest part is my parents have offered to do it for us... we took them up and i just couldn't sleep with baby not there... it stressed me out more than her crying! Her god mother also wants a turn

heh hee least i don't need to worry if i every really need a night off huh?
With feeding herself, K doesn't feed the dogs if i only give her one piece at a time to deal with... so i put her plate next to mine and we eat together. sometimes she even finishes her veggies and starts on mine... or last friday at the restaurant she wanted my brothers pumkin...lol she ate so much of it i was ready to order him more.
She drinks water with all her meals, but from a sippy cup and not her bottle, if i give her water in her bottle she spits it out - i think its like if you are expecting a sip of coffe and you get tea... you too spit it out. so now water comes in the pink bottle and milk in the clear.
Congrats on the 9 months! and the waving sounds utterly adorable!
Cols - don't worry i will get Kaelyn to give him a quick course in crawling, waving and clapping at the get together..
Sher - they actually chew the food with their gums you just have to make sure its pretty soft... so overcooked pumkin cubes... or slices of Avo.... as long as its pretty soft. Also they have an overactive gag reflex so they really are more likely to cough it out completely than actually choke. but still watch... just when they gag give them a few seconds to sort themselves out before you go charging in to rescue them.
BabyK - Kaelyns two bottoms are through and she too seems to still be suffering, even as far as refiusing the bottle unless i give her prodol first and hold it just right... we think its the top ones now, but you put your finger in and she bites real hard... and if you still manage that she sticks her tongue out... even now smiles with her tongue over her bottom teeth...

amazing how hard they can bite actually, you would never have thought such a tiny tooth could inficl such pain!
We also had a daytime nap thing when she learnt to crawl... i think it may just be that he is more interested in crawling than sleeping... we also have a small issue now in that she is dropping the 10am feed some days, but still wants the nap, but she doesn't seem to know yet how to nap without having the bottle... so she gets niggly... but i am sure it will pass.
Have a great weekend guys! I better get back to work... lots and lots to do
