August-September 2010 Moms

Hi!! I miss you girls! I cant check my Moomie everyday, so it's a huge thing when I read all of your posts.
So as I'm sitting here, Ava-Lily can come at any time now. Been seeing my Dr weekly now and last week he said because A-L is 2 weeks bigger, she wont wait much longer to arrive. WE CANT WAIT!! Been getting a lot of weird 'new' cramps. Baby room is finished and bags are packed, all I have left to do is WAIT... Cant do much, so at this point I'm really board.

Goodluck to all of you for the final days you have left. All of you mommies are in my prayers.

(oh, I'm 25, hubby is 24 and been married for 1 year and 7 months, been together since I was 20 .)

So my retrenchment is being finalised this week, should sign all the documents on Thursday.
The Lord is really looking after us.
I have been blessed with a package that would see me through maternity leave without having to worry, and give me a couple months grace if I dont find a job.
I am a bit anxious about finding a job, because it'll be a salary cut. But the Lord knows our hearts and that I want to work closer to home and I know that it'll be as its meant to.

I have arranged to hand over the sales part slowly this week, and as of Monday I'm working from home just finishing everything off.
I have to come in on Wednesday for my office baby shower and Friday for a suppliers lunch and then I'm off!

I've been having period like lower back pain this week. Not sure if it's my body getting ready or just fighting for space.

Judes mom sorry to hear. Maybe ask your gynae about Stilnox? I took half a tablet last night and slept so much better. I'd need a week of that to feel 'normal' again though.

I've taken tomorrow off to go buy the last of what I need so that it's packed as well.

Seems we're all of similar ages / been married similar.
I'm 28 (29 in Nov) and DH is 28 (I'm 4 months older). Been married since 21, but dating since 17. We wanted to buy a house before we started trying, but also said we'd start trying at 25. At the time, we'd just moved into the house so gave it a couple years more. I dont want to be too much beyond 30 when we start trying #2.

Morning Mama's, well had another night were i couldnt sleep, my body is really sore and i feel like she is really gna come sooner.

so im going to canal walk 2nite to buy all this stuff i need for hospital, get my bags packed just in case. Although my due date was 24th August, Doc says she will come at 38 weeks but i feel she will come sooner.

Im 27 and married for 6 years and have a little boy who will be 4 in September.

Went for my 37wk check up and just a quick update..

Armand is growing nicely and he is very healthy boy! He weighs 3.1kg's and he TURNED, facing down now!!!!!!!!! Praise God for that!!!! So he lays perfect for natural birth. He also lays very deep in the birth canal, so i really hope he comes soon!!! I can not wait any more!!!

My braxton hicks is sore now!!! had them last night and the night before!!

Dr very happy with both of us!!!
So, only 24 days to go(if he doesn't come early).

Mommy - glad you and Liam is ok!!! Take it easy!!

Girly - enjoy your scan tomorrow!!!
