Just trying a quickie to see if it will load it and keep it as I don't have time right this second to type a long newsy. You girls are certainly going the whole hog for the birthday parties hey! Eish! One question? How on earth are you going to top this party for the next years to come! Lol. Think we'll just be doing something a little simpler - aka a Braai at our place etc with a couple balloons!
I figure it's the one birthday they won't really remember and as long as you've got a few good pics and some really great memories of smiles and laughter (as should happen everyday!) then that's enough!

Anyway just having a great day = Lily slept all night! I pray this is the return to her old sleeping through the nights habit!
I'm off now to a massage that my mom organised for me as a little retreat - says I need a break! WHoo Hoo!

Things are back to normal in our household aka madhouse! The girls are going (or now again might not be) to JHB this weekend with their dad. So hating it, cause he is the one saying never mind the seatbelts! Luckily we taught them never to drive anywhere without them. But sometimes the seatbelts in his car get stuck in the boot, then he doesn't want to take the time to get them out.

Iz's party planning has commenced in full swing. And mommy lost the plot a bit with daddy not far behind! What are you guys putting in your party packs for the boys as favors? How do I get labels off a plastic bottle easily? I eventually got strawberry flavoured water with a pink cap, but want to take the labels off and put Iz's theme labels on. Crazy Chameleon party planners does it, but won't supply me cause I'm too far. Grrrrrr!!!! Now I have to improvise.

What are you dressing ur LO's in on their B-day? You dressing them according to theme or just to play?

Food? Any clever food ideas? I saw this one where you take 3 finger biscuits and just put a bow around it.

Any of you having a jumping castle? I wanted one, but the lady that's doing Iz's party doesn't have a pink one. Checkers used to have a small pink castle one for sale for about R300. But now I can't find it anywhere!!!!!!

geez i have been so hectic, i did not read all posts, there is no time, read this page only. hope you all well

work is just super super crazy... i get here at 5:40 and before i know it, its time to go home, thats if i remember to look a the clock. otherwise i get carried away with work. how sad is that

otherwise we all good, k is just growing so lovely and she is such a clever little girl, her bubbly personality and laughs all the time. she copies us all the time and switches our lamp shade on and off, the switch is at the bottom.

time is really flying, well back to the slave grind stone

Shame Cols, can't believe you are still sick! Hope you're ok by friday for Evan's birthday. Funny that you have put him on Nido now, I did a market research for Nido the other day. I didn't really know too much about it before then but now I plan on buying a tin next month and seeing if John likes it

Kerry, I'm sorry but we will not be able to come to Kaelyn's party. Thanks so much for thinking of us though.

John has now discovered that he can crawl from room to room, I was really lucky up til now that he was so content to stay in one room, now I have to keep my eye on him like a hawk! And of course he has discovered the cats litter box! Oh Oh! And I have realised that my maid has not been cleaning my floors very well (although better than me at any rate) because his clothes get so dirty on the legs from all the crawling

I've been going through a hard time again with the freelancing so my parents have offered to take John and I to Umhlanga with them for a week! We leave on Saturday, it'll be his first plane ride. I can't wait, I have so much to do beforehand though, hope I can fit it all in. Poor DH has to stay behind but I think he is looking forward to the quiet time with no real responsibilities

Hey moms, think back, can you remember: when your LOs starting crawling properly, did they sleep more during the day (maybe from using up all that energy?). John has been taking longer than usual naps the last few days and I'm not sure if its all the excitement or maybe he is coming down with something...

How is everyone? I am still sooooo sick.

Kerry, dont worry, the tooth will come. Evan's gum has split on the top / right tooth, the left is still pushing down and the eye tooth it also in but it will still take time. It is impossible getting him to eat. He live on fruit and yoghurt at the moment. I try him 1st on his veggies and meat and then when I give up he's moaning crying spitting and i'm ready to blow my top I give him his fruit and yoghurt. I am now mixing his yoghurt into his cereal to give him a little extra substance. I bought some of the purity night time cereal today so we'll try that if he doesnt eat tonight.

He is on Nido 1 now and loves it. He is taking it well. He still sleeps badly. Last night was nice, he slept 7 - 11:30 then finished his night bottle, woke @ 4:30 for his morning bottle and slept till after 7am.
