Hi ladies.

Tiagosmom - LOL for being broody. Three of us (I think) is already pregnant again :), so yes I suppose we are all broody. And jay for T sleeping thru!

As for SARS, luckily my DH is an accountant so I never worry about those things, because he does mine.

Chloé is on antibiotics for ear infection. Coughed the whole of wednesday night. Luckily the paed gave her meds yesterday that caused her to not cough at all last night. So she got a good nights rest. She also moved to the bigger class (1-2 year old). They are 8 in the class with one teacher and 2 assistants. She gets porridge in the mornings and lunch and stays from 07:00 till 17:15. We pay R650 per month.

Hope you all have an extremely wonderful weekend!!!

Hi All

Mrs SH - T is so lazy still , not walking, not talking much just says hello if he puts the phone by him ear, mama and baba and thats it. So dont worry. He also only has 6 teeth so still eating quite mushed up(with a fork) food aswell.

I've put his name down to start at creche next year half day 3 times a week to start with so will see how it goes. To the ladies with kids in creche what is a good teacher to child ratio for this age? I saw a really nice nursery school but they said that at first he'll go to the orange class where there is about 12 kids , 1 teacher and 2 assistants which was fine but then when he moves on there are almost 30 kids in a class with 1 teacher and 3 assistants - 30 kids sounds like ALOT. So anyway I went to another place which I loved which is only about 6-8 kids in the "baby /turning2" class with 1 teacher and 1 assistant which sounds alot better to me.
Touchwood Tiagos been sleeping so well lately at night - sleeps straight until 6 am next morning which was a never for us.

Anyway one of my good friends announced she was pregnant yesterday and her little one is 3 months younger than mine so its sparked some serious broodiness again in me, arrrggghh! We house hunting still so hopefully we'll find something soon so that we can start trying toward end of this year/beggining 2012. Are any of you broody yet(or am I abnormal)?

As for sars - do I have to still submit my return if I only started working in Feb this year? Im so bad at tax etc

Ag mammie - congrats all you preganant ladies! So awesome. It's it amazing how our bodies are just much more susceptible to have babies this time round - it seems that 90% of the ladies who wanted to fall preggers again, did so mcuh sooner than last time!

I am currently sitting in SARS hell. I've been here since 7 and it shouldn't be much longer, my oh my word it's painful!

Alex has stopped his night wakings, thank goodness. Nelria - I'll try that next time. It's just so cold usually that I wrap up warmly and literally sit next to hos cot with just my hand on his back. It beats getting in and out of bed - getting all nice and toasty, just to get out again. But what you suggests makes sense.

Alex is a real little boy. The monster is all about destroy and conquer and he is so rough with me! We always say pat-pat-pat when he needs to stoke the cat or dog, which he does, but then will suddelnly try and pull a clump of hair out or yank their legs or bite - yes bite - their tails! Thank goodness they are so tranquil.

I really don't have much to report, just trying to kill time until my number is called...

Oh SARS!!!

Have a good weekend all

Hi ladies,

Just wanted to give you an update. Went for bloods again yesterday and my count increased from 73 on thursday to 427 yesterday, meaning a doubling time of under 48 hours. I am over the moon! I was 5 weeks yesterday. Still a loooong way to go!

As for Chloé, she only walks when she is butt naked. Very weird! It is as if the floor is too cold to crawl then, then she walks. She still has only 6 teeth. Sleeps once a day from 13:00 to 16:30 and drinks three bottles of Nan a day. Furthermore she eats everything we eat and loves her droëwors and viennas. She sleeps from 19:00 till 07:30. She says nee, mamma, pappa, tatta, bye, moenie and Hi jy.

So have a lovely day ladies!

Oh and one last thing, Shane is back to sleeping twice during the day. I was determined on Saturday to get his sleeping routine back in order, we had also decided to wall paper the one wall in his new room so the little guy HAD to sleep. He slept for 1 hour and woke right in the middle of our wall paper experiment EEKK.
