Clothing for New Born - September / October

I dont think the out of hospital outfit needs to be anything special, as they will be bundled up in blankets! Take a little beanie along as their head should be kept warm - especially in the colder weather!

My baby was born in Feb wich is very warm but still i used long baby grows . T shirt materiaal but i will have one or 2 thick ones for rainy cold days

NB to have i would say is more baby grows and long and short sleeve vests body vests are my favourite, above cute outfits as its very uncomfy for a newborn!!!!

also dont stock up on newborn clothes they grow out of very quick!

an out of hospital outfit is just simply the outfit you put onto baby when you take him/her home. There are some very pretty cute outfits at the shops, but theres nothing particular about it... it can be anything... its totally up to you, but from what i understand you will need a hat... thats all

Ek dink langmou bodyvests is die beste, hulle is nie te dik en warm nie en kan jy nog 'n lekker kombersie ook om hulle draai maar ook nie te koud om oop te le nie.

As dit koel is kan jy net nog ietsie bo oor aantrek of 'n warmer kombersie gebruik.

Ek sal ook wel kortmou kry vir die dae of dalk middae wat baie warm is. as dit koel word trek net ietsie bo oor aan.

kry maar 'n paar pakkies want jy sal dit definitief gebruik maar ek sal eerder meer 0-3mnde koop as newborn. die kortmou sal jy dalk in die dag gebruik en langmou in die aande.

Pls can i ask what an out of hospital outfit is? Can it be a baby grow or there are nicer outfits?

September is still a little chilly so I would look at the long sleeve t-shirt material ones, you can always put a shirt / jersey on over it should it be cooler or warmer! I was told that newborns should wear same amount of layers as you have on plus 1 extra layer.
