K-- Eish its tough you know.

I know the experts if we can call them that, say that men are simple beings. (Simple as in easy , not stupid).
It might be that he also feels that now that the baby is around he is not even being given the time of day. We as women are always fussing over the baby, sometimes you have a difficult baby and you dont really have time to be all lovey dovey. You forget to cook for him, Iron his shirt or whatever you used to do to whoo him before you had a baby, so to him , you have also changed coz you are not so loving towards him anymore. lets face it sometimes you dont have the energy to be Miss Pre-pregnancy, nor are you in the mood to be the Sexpot that you used to be. You`re struggling with ur weight, your body is scarred(stretchmarks) and you secretly hate him for ruining your body. This has all gotta come out into the open, and we need to talk to our partners about it. Clamming up and building up this anger wont help you one bit, so talk , talk, talk, if you can take ur clothes off and make a baby, surely you can sit him down and tell him what makes you happy, what you NEED , and tell him if you are not coping, I mean one minute ur this independent woman , living this power life, and all of a sudden ur at the mercy of a screaming baby that cant even tell you why he/she is crying non stop.
Thats enough to drive anyone to alcohol and toyboys, dont u think...

Ja its true Kaytee, it does also happen the other way, where bd just getsl so involved with baba, you just seem not 2 exist...very said I must say, and its not easy dealing with both these situations as we are made to believe that a "baby brings the family closer"

ja ne Jade, you're right my friend. I almost learned that the hard way. paying attention to them doesnt necessarily mean having s*x but the little things, like sending him an sms to let him know that you love him. ask him how he is, whats happening in his life, take interest in his life...

Wildcat2 ,y friend, i am not reprimanding you neh, Just wanna share with you what I experienced. I read ur post on FB, about Jnr being the most important man in your life......

Ur Jeanette first and then ur a mommy and dont forget that.
We tend to get lost in the amazing warm fuzzy love that we have for these precious little beings. You just cannot get it around your head how its possible to love such a little person so much and this little being just wants to be close to you and love you unconditionally.
This is where we loose the plot, we take all the love that use to be BD`s and give it to LO... moral of the story, someone doesnt get all the attention that he used to gets neglected. There is nothing wrong with loving your sweetie Pie, just dont forget daddy ok....

Anita, I do disposables, I have enough work over weekends doing Tays laundry on saturdays , I only wash her clothes once a week, and her bibs every second day coz she runs through at least 6 bibs a day with her drooling.
