MamaSne my LG weighed 7kg @ 6months and now she's at 7.45kg (almost 11months old), as long as her weight keeps increasing u shouldnt be concerned. if she stops growing or is losing weight, then its a problem.

Dzunie and Stumzaa- Lesego was 8.5kg at 5 months and now 9.1 at 6 months.
I have given him marie biscuits, chicken bone (he loves it), gave him cheese curls(messy), pasta (he had a weird look on his face)
