i see everyone is okay today...the disposable stuff got me thinking very hard, my bd says he will buy enough disposables for a month and now i'm thinking we can use that money for other baby stuff, but i'll have to twist his arm he's againts the disposable nappies...wish me luck there...Jade that's so inspiring...

Ntoko why dont you try Formance and folic acids my gynae prescibed it for me and my colleague was also taking those while she was preggies and most ppl recommend it, other benefits you glow with that milk and you also drink after birth if you will breastfeed until you decide to stop breastfeeding... (you dont need a doc's prescription)

I heard about the Pregomega + free Pregnacream at Dischem for R129.99, so i called them to order. Guess what? They say they are not delivering until further notice and the special ends on Sunday So dissapointed, was gonna stock them up for the next few months of pregnancy & breastfeeding.

jade101 - did you buy the baby carrier for Tay? I would like to get one for my lg as im not getting a pram for her, its a bit pricey though

jade101 - True that sister. We are not equal and so is our way of bringing up our kids wont be the same.

I havent been in the clothing sections as i avoid shopping up a storm But im suremost baby shops have nice cute little girly outfits.

9 days You must be starving girl

Its really taxing considering Tay runs through 3 Jumbo packs of 94 nappies @ R199.99 each per month.

People can say whatever they want, I wouldn`t give a flying hoop that they are skindering about me not having money, I mean there are so many things that pop up during the month , that you could use the money for. Like topping up baby`s toiletries or getting your hair fixed just so you dont look all dull after giving birth, we dont want them thinking that you`ve lost your spunk too , now do we??

I had 2 friends who were preg same time when I was and we used to go to the mall together shopping for baby stuff. They bought as far as I could see, but I couldn`t because our finances weren`t good. They both bought the pram + car seat and I didnt have either coz of DH. For 3 months I went without either , but now that I got the seat, I realised that the carseat you get with the pram you can only use for a short period , then you have to upgrade to a bigger one(which DH bought now). So I`m glad I didn`t get taken up by pressure of wanting to be "in " and wasting two grand on that travel set...

I mean only I know what I can afford and how much I want to spend, so flip whatever others think

Ntoko, have you seen some cute girly stuff yet, I want to buy Tay something nice for when we go visiting her daddy`s family but I`m just not getting anywhere near a mall lately.

PS* I am 9 days away from the end of my "3 month probation period"
