well KC i would go with Brenthurst, first impressions lasts girl, Brenthurst staff were good to you, atleast now you know what to expect from them.

I have to make a choice between the two hospitals either parklane or brenthurst,now what happened on thursday went to the doc and he said I can go and check the labour ward,i go to parklane maternity section i found the ladies at the reception and i tell her why I am there and she's looking for the lady who can show me around and explain everything,the minute she realize that she can't c/find her she tells me all the wards are full and that i won't be able to check the wards.I was pissed and disappointed can you beleive this woman.

I went to brenthurst and guess what ,they were so warm and friendly.it was like i am already their patient,customer service was excellent,and they gave me all the info that I need.the only thing left for me to do is make a wise decision.

KC_1 - Our cute doc is expensive. Well i also need to pay the R1800 for the delivery and then for my next visit will only pay R100 as my MA cover 2 scans, that will be my last paid scan From then on if i need a scan i`ll have to pay R400 for it. But still im happy with him. Im sure you wont be needing anymore scans. Are you going to have a 4d? Well if i get a 4d scan for free that will be my last scan then i dont have to pay R400. Will only pay R100 for consultations until birth But did you know that you can claim back the monies you paid cash from MA? Except for the R1800 cause that is a co-payment ya gynae. And also you cant claim back the R400`s as they are your choice. But the R350 + de R100 you can claim.

Nozzy - Keabatseba batho bako kasi. Typical like that. They will even come and enquire gore what was going on exactly and others will just pop in for a plate Gore go etsa galang they dont care!

@ KC i haven't been doing a scan since my 34weeks check up. thats what my doctor told me. gore ngwana is big enough and you dont really get a clear picture of the baby anyway.

I remember with my first LO, i dint have a medical aid back then and ne ke tsamaya government hospital and they didnt have scans then and we trusted bo nurse when they said everything was fine ka bo nunu. so I am trusting by doctor.
