i am sooo shocked and sad,i just found out that my uncles's sil,who gave birth ko Lesedi last week monday,was put in the same room as an hiv pos,woman who was also in labour,the gynae perfomed a ceasar on both woman in the same room,and then accidentally gave sil's baby nevirapin,instead of the other woman's lo,so no one knows,while he was doing the cearsar,if he sterelized the equip or not,i am just soo shocked,that is soo unprofesional.I mean he knew the other woman was hiv pos,why put them in the same room,and perfom a ceasar on both at the same time,i am even shaking thinking of the possibilities.

Ntoko I know its a hassle going to the Dept of Labout twice, but rather you go there to collect the forms yourself so they can give you a checklist, that way you know that you will be submitting everything they need from you.

Ntoko - just adding on what Nozzy wil advice u on UIF..As far as my experience, the DOL did not require me to go to my previous employers.So I guess they had all records on their system.They gave me a form for my then emploeyer to complete and return it back to them together with a letter that needs to be certified by the Bank.Not sure if I'll b going thru the same process.
