a friend of mine delivered her son ka friday, she was 34weeks pregnant.

I just hope its not that.. its too early.. I still have so much to do before baby come, my hospital bag is not even 100% packed. guess i have to get cracking in packing

I think is too early for the baba to come.If it continues then ask for advise on the forum and call ur doc

from what I read on the forum birth stories looks like something is about to happen,please call ur doc for assurance.I am worried for you hey,maybe I am wrong but hey,just try hey u never know.

I`ll be 21.3 weeks Saturday, do you gals think the baby is big at this time?

wildcat2 - Im sleeping on my sides but i find that my right is uncomfy and sore, so i put a pillow underneath and just turn when the other side is tired ans sore. I know that it is so comfy to sleep on ur back in this condition, but its not good.

When is the right time to book a bed?

wild@heart - I`ve been to genesis`s website and even have their booklet. Very homey! I`d love to give birth there but dont have that choice.

Nozzy - So strange, i feel exactly like you today. I just came back from the loo cause i had that feeling ya go etsa no 2, but nothing. It just feel so uncofortable.

Is it safe to sleep on my back during pregnancy?

If you typically sleep on your back, it's safe to continue doing so through the first trimester. But as the uterus gets heavier in the second trimester, it's best to choose another position.

When you lie on your back, your uterus presses on the vein that returns blood from your lower body to your heart. Lying on your back for an extended period of time could interfere with the flow of blood and nutrients to the placenta and your developing baby.

This is potentially unsafe, particularly if you have a condition like high blood pressure that affects how much oxygen and nutrients the baby is getting. If you have such a condition, your doctor will advise you to sleep on your side.

Don't be alarmed if you go to sleep on your side and wake up flat on your back. It happens all the time and shouldn't have any serious adverse effect on your baby's health.

Nonetheless, try to train yourself to sleep on your side or sitting propped up. If you need to, place a pillow between your legs, under your hip, or behind your back to make your sleep position more comfortable.
