What's with 2010 moomies getting pregnant again in 2011? You are right Blackie about "eating with caution". Now I'm even scared BD touching me. I have been checking my loop strings twice daily since this pregnancy fashion started, but now I wonder if a loop only is enough to protect me.

Elamsmom, I pay R1400 for the daycare here @ work, which I feel is reasonable. I get to see her whenever I want, although I try to go there most of the time just to give her time to settle in.

Nels, you might just enjoy PMB. I studied in UKZN-PMB campus & I use to love it there. It's not as busy as Jozi, which is one of the reasons I loved it there. I wouldn't mind moving to PMB full-time.

So, Elam started Moms & Babes workshop today. I work 8-5 and my DH yena, he does his own thing so he has the time. Thought I could get away from work today to go to the workshop but though DH would bring nanny with so I can leave Elam there with nanny. Long story short, he didn't bring nanny so I only stayed for a few minutes to see the venue & see what it's lile then he stayed with all the 20 or so moms and their babies!!! I think on my way out, I saw ONE other dad!

Then I get back to work and a colleague gives me free 2 tickets to the show, Dreamgirls tonight (anyone seen it?) Asked my sister to come with me. There is NO WAY I can even broach with topic of now going to see a musical called DREAMGIRLS with me after he's spent the afternoon with MOMS & BABES! Hahahahaha

Patty, you are right. Men are not so affected by the babies. Bona they just see this person growing and they play with baby when baby is bathed, fed, clean nappy & happy. They get to experience the fun/nice side of parenting & thina we mostly get to do the hard work. I'm not saying they don't help shame (look at what mine did today )but we definitely do more.

Elamsmom i think the Daddies agree to have next babies soon bcos they are not 100% affected by a baby, their lives continue as b4 or with little disruptions so ya since Im the one still waking up @ night and taking care of the baby most of the times, I'll get to decide on when its OK to have 2nd one!
