Gals on Saturday there was u-Lira eMaponya Mall. Am not a fan but the lady can sing tjo. She was with u-Anele waku 5fm. She was also giving away ama cd but this gal answered a question & she gave her the Dress she was wearing! Turqoise in colour, if u`ve seen her live DVD show, one of those fancy dresses she wears.

Wildcat I also agree, need to be a housewife with extra spending cash not chilling @ home whole day & cutting down on ur lifestyle

Ya, eish, these winter parties. We had planned on Saturday 23rd April but with these Easters and public holidays, none of our friends were in town and in the end, DH wasn't wassn't here either so was alone with the baby but it was my choice. I've travelled home to Eastern Cape 4 times already this year for weddings, engagements, anniversaries! Yho, this time I said no thanks! Too much travelling. Thought I was going to save money by staying here but spent SOOOO much money!!! Wish I's got paid on 30th instead of 20th like the banks do!!!

Moms & Babes workshops are weekly meetings(mainly for the SAHM's so they can meet other moms and babies can play with other babies). They have different activities each week for the babies depending on age group, music, etc and tea & snacks for moms. Eish, Elam will have to go with her dad and nanny. Her dad works for himself so can take them and fetch them. I'll only go to the 1st one this Thursday if I can get an hour off work! At times like these, being a working mom sucks!

@WC u r not the only one I go to shops telling myself that I am not going to buy for Phelo instead when I get the first section I go to is the baby section,I end up buying for her I need to discipline myself,it is so hard.

Lucky you Ntoko for being multilingual,I can speak & read sotho and zulu and hear a little beat of venda thanx to Muvhango.

Ntoko,i dont think i'l ever be a house wife ,i get bored easily,unless he gets tenders and i can go shopping the whole day,that's a job right???just went to ackermans,my word,i bought Mj the cutest hoodie,hand gloves(can i call them that?)my word i cant wait to show him,i wish i had bought them b4 he left,and they have the cutest clothes,going to lay-by tomorrow,shame,my granny called saying it is freeeeezing and drizzling,so my mashmallow needs to be warm

Eish,the joy of motherwood,i havent bought myself anything for winter,but here i am busy buying and buying for Mj,bought him things at woolies wen we took him home and had to hide them from bd ,but i am not complaining nor do i feel left out,i am loving it

Gals mina original im Swati, but did isiZulu from an early age @school as a 1st language plus went to school with Sothos, Tswana`s & Xhosas. So you can just imagine + im learning Venda, can hear but cant answer back

Tjo Patty amaVenda they gossip esp if u dont know their lingo That`s why i learned.

Ntoko my Mom never spoke to us in Zulu, always in Sotho. so now she told me "you chose to get married ko Venda, you do & speak as they do!"
its actually a very good weapon for me, cos you always get relatives who feel "Eish ore tliseditse Makoti wa mo Sotho" so now wen u can hear them and they kno u can speak/hear, they are more "welcoming". my immediate Inlaws dont actually care which language I speak cos most of the time they use English anyway.

The best part is sitting amongst people who speak Venda & they assume I cant hear them you get to hear alot of things
