lientjie - I can't recall the name now.

It wasn't a name I was familiar with, but when I spoke to the Toys R Us person she said there was only one seat that Discovery had for this campaign and that was it.

It can be rear facing, but my daughter is nearly 11kg, so I have to make it front facing on the back seat.

It is very cushiony (is that a word), I liked the safety straps and they way they fitted. It also reclines slightly which is nice for a small baby - as then their head does not fall forward if they fall asleep.

It also locked really securely onto the safety belt of the car, so that the seat did not have any "give" like my old one.

It is blue - so there was no option of buying another colour, but I am really happy with it. She also looked all loungy comfortable in it.

I think it cost us about R300.00 after the discount, which sounded like a GREAT deal to me.

Thanks Julz! My gyni charges really low medical aid rates so I'm hoping they will pay for him. Just so bad he doesn't do the prime cure network claiming or else they would have paid for 4 of the antenatal visits as well.

Julz, I know the extras is gonna cost us more, but I'm starting to think its worth it. Medihelp paid for ALL my gyni visits with my previous pregnancy but then I changed plans at the beginning of this year to save some costs (didn't plan on getting pregnant again so soon) but now I have to pay for all the gyni visits myself, and I'm still not sure if they are going to cover the gyni attendance in hospital or just the hospital.
But in all fairness, I'm saving R1400 pm on this plan, so paying for gyni visits are not to bad...

I've been wondering about the weight limit on our Graco baby seat - can't remember if it's 9kg's??? Can anyone help me out? My LG is already 7.5kg (@3.5mths!!!).

RM - may I ask which car seat you bought? Is it front- or rear-facing?

I've also misplaced my Discovery vouchers... will have to go hunting...
