MMR INJECTION?

I have looked it up for you and there seems to be a few different opinions. A common one is to wait 3 months, but here is more info which states that you should not fall pregnant within 4 weeks. Always check with your gynae.

Morning Ladies

My mother has measels. She spoke to our family GP about me as she knows that we are TTC but luckily I had not seen her the 5 days previous to her out break.

What the GP did say tho was that he has seen a number of ladies in twentys / thirtys who have contacted measels. We apparently get injections for it as babies and then at about 6 years and then that is it! Mom said he recomended that I get a MMR injection as I am TTC.

I was wondering what your views were on this? Have any of you got one pre TTC? Is it a good idea? I don't see any harm on it, but I would value your views. The last thing after falling pregnant I would like to get is measels!
