wow what a busy day...
so my car is R3500 just for 2 of the problems. the window is R4500 to fix!! so I told them to just leave it broken...

Kimika, my friend was in labour for 24 hours by the time he was born. she got to about 9cm dilated and there was a small bit of cervix that wouldnt open up but only on one side (not all the way around baby's head) so the midwife tried to push that bit of cervix aside while mommy pushed. she pushed for 2 hours, in the water, on a birth stool, on the bed. nothing was helping. he was in a posterior position which means he was facing up instead of down (these deliveries are usually more difficult) and eventually after 2 hours she went for the caesar. shame she is so disappointed to have made it so far and not succeeded. but he's here and he's so cute!! really cant wait for our turn!!!

mistymom - yip it was the gift from DH and i just had to laugh myself to death about your dream!! I have terrible SEX dreams! it really disturbs me....I feel like a porn star or something and they are so often

aaahhh Anje that is so great your DH felt the baby kicking!!!! how special!! whenever I feel Matthieu move I press my tummy to see if I can feel anything. I think I felt a small kick today but it was only 1 so I cant be sure...

Jessica - I'm with you about Karin's comment on chocolate. I think baby is immune - perhaps I eat it too often...

mommy-jess - I am so sorry! Know how you feel...I also got re trenched a few months back..and then found out was pregnant a week later! Very stressfull time! And it took me a months to find a job! Hope all goes well with CCMA...it may be a blessing! I was so bored in previous job and am so much happier now! Also I luckily got a nice packageof 3 months pay...which I used to buy a lot of the big expensive abby things (pram, cot etc). What do you do? I found my job online...just applied through all agencies adn looked everyday sending CV everywhere.

Karin - oooh how exciting! As mentined still waiting for kicks...and I am also eating loads of chocolate (strange as never used to...think its gotta do with the stopped smoking!). When did you feel the first kick? Now andthen i feel a littl ekinda flutter on my left side but not sure.?

AFM..have got fantastic news today! My sister from Ireland is arriving for a "surprise" visit on Monday! Long story short she had a op on her toe and was booked off work a month...she went to doc yesterday to have the pin removed and doc has booked her off anouther 3 weeks! She has just been sitting at home so board the last month and cant handle anouther 3 weeks (the plan was to go back to work next week but now doc has booked her off anouther 3!). She is lucky as she works for the governmenr there and all this "sick" leave is paid for! Anway she found a cheap flight so is arriving Monday! Im so excited as she was only going to arrice in APril a week befoer my Due date so now she can see me preggies!! SO I may be a little AWOL next week!!

Where is everybody??? Hope Joli ok?? Anybody heard from her??

He he, with my first I also breastfed the cat in my dreams . I read somewhere that dreams about your baby being an animal is all about your fears that something will be wrong with baby.

Re nipples... well mine went half way back to pre pregnancy stage but the boob are another story... The colour also changes permanently to a lighter brown.

Kimika ~ I'm also seriously thinking about a boob job after this one is born (a year after they say) Painfull probably but we woman knows how to handle pain. \

MistyMom ~ at you dream! Oh my word, breast feeding the cat... very funny!

Anje ~ Thats so cool that hubby felt baby too! My hubby is sulking most nights cause he wants to feel it again after the first time and can't seem to get it right again.

AFM: Hectic at work and Im fed-up with just walking into problems the whole time with work stuff. Gosh, I need a holiday.
Last night me and hubby sat watching Top-Chef and eating some Cadbury Top-Deck chocolate (mmm yummy, hehe) although I know I should stay away! LOL, but anyway, so baby started kicking and moving so much! it was Awesome, the most she's moved so far and kicked me around my belly button. It felt great, so yeah for chocolate if you want an active baby. LOL

Mommy-Jess=OMW that doesn't sound good at all,but hoping for the best and may the CCMA find you in favour.Damn employers.

Kimika-I am a 32A and after birth my boobs goes back cause I still fit perfectly on my bras now 36A I feel sexy as I have a cleavage.Please help me with winnie the pooh fabric I need to sew baby's curtains
